St. Amant Winery

Great wine. Loved the tasting room and the service. Signed up for the club. Some of the best wine I have ever sampled. Received a nice tour of the warehouse and saw the grapes fermenting. Highly recommend this winery. May have inadvertantly overcharged me on our wine purchases. But sure they will figure it out. Thx Paul from the Wine Visitor Center for the tips on where to go.

We went here during harvest and the Winery was busy crushing grapes from bins that were filled that day. Our hosts Nathan, Barbara and Stewart were great hosts and provided interesting information about the history of this family owned business. My favorite wine tasted was the 2021 reserveTempranillo, acidic but with robust finish. The 2022 Barbera was also outstanding.

My wife and I have been members for 10 years. Great wine and one of the family / owners is always there. If you join the club, there is always flexibility with the wine selection if you pick up.

They have done a pretty good job making visitors feel welcome to their winery in an industrial setting. The have a GREAT port ad there are not to many places serving port which I enjoy. Will be back when we're back in the area. Cheers

Great wine and great people! Never had a bad experience here. Their emphasis on Portuguese and Spanish varietals along with excellent ports makes for a nice variety for tasting and an option for any occasion.

This place served the best wines during our day outing to Lodi. You need to pay attention to the location because it doesn't look like a winery. It's in an industrial complex. But well worth the hunt.

Small family-owned winery in Lodi in an industrial park area (what I call a garage door winery which will make sense when you see the surround area). This is tasting room only, so you aren't going to see any vineyards or take a tour. They do have a barrel room there you can see (restroom is located in that area). The inside is welcoming, although not "touristy." They do accept walk-ins, which is nice when you don't know exactly when you'll be arriving, but can get a little busy at times. Fortunately, they did allow us to split a tasting (one tasting shared between two people) at the counter (there is also seating available). The winery focuses on European wines plus CA Zinfandels and offer four different ports. I chose the winery mostly because I was interested in ports, but they only have one port on the tasting menu. (They have 2 ruby, 1 tawney, and 1 white port available to buy.) The tasting was very extensive, especially at the price. We got to try six different wines that were on the tasting menu plus a bonus from a bottle that was open. They even asked if we wanted to try anything again before leaving. It was a great selection of wine (and yes, the port was my favorite). Overall, this is a great place to go for a tasting experience. The wines were fun to try, and Lodi is great for a day trip out of the Sacramento area without going all the way down to Napa/Sonoma.
