This heaven on earth is an intimate, secluded, Spanish-style oasis in the heart of Palm Springs. The lush gardens, vibrant bougainvillea, soft lavender scents, and the sound of birdsong created a dreamlike setting. Hummingbirds danced in the air--I could see their shadows from behind the shades of my bridal suite. it felt like the earth itself was celebrating with us. Every inch of the space is a portal through time and a sacred space designed with love. Joe was everything. He didn't just host us--he supported us every step of the way. He helped with vendor recommendations, aesthetic preparations, and all the little details we didn't even think of. He was patient, thoughtful, and kind, bringing warmth and calm to the whole day. He made our dream a reality, giving us storybook moment after storybook moment. We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful place and such a generous soul holding space for us. And so immensely grateful to have gotten a chance to say our vows in a place that sparkled and seemed to hold its breath with us- alive with birdsong, drenched in light, wrapped in love. The ancients were right-Plato said it himself "Through beauty, we ascend to love." So, I have to add that when you're surrounded by beauty, love doesn't just grow--it expands in every direction. Our wedding day was amazing!

I had the privilege of hosting my wedding at Casa de Monte Vista, and it was nothing short of magical. After being engaged for six years, I spent countless days searching for the perfect place to say, "I do". I toured venue after venue, but so many felt ordinary, lacking the soul and uniqueness I longed for. Then I found Casa de Monte Vista, and everything changed. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was captivated. Every detail of this space feels like it has a story to tell--from the stunning antiques to the vintage Hollywood photographs that adorn its walls. It isn't just a venue; it's a living, breathing piece of history. Wandering through its many hidden corners, I felt a deep sense of connection and wonder. Joe, the owner and caretaker of Casa de Monte Vista, brought an incredible warmth to the experience. From the very first moment we met him, he made us feel like family. His care for the property and his passion for creating special moments shine through in everything he does. On the wedding day, when nerves ran high, Joe was a calming presence. He took care of every detail with grace, allowing my family and me to fully embrace the joy of the day and be present. Tony, who catered our wedding, was no less remarkable. He and his wife poured their hearts into the meal, crafting dishes that felt as warm and thoughtful as the space itself. Their food was more than just a part of the celebration--it reflected the love and care that went into every element of the day. Casa de Monte Vista didn't just provide a setting for my wedding; it gave us an experience that felt sacred and deeply personal. It's a place that invites you to slow down, take in its beauty, and create memories you'll carry for a lifetime. Our daughter searched all over for a venue to host her wedding. Finally she discovered and booked her event with the Casa de Monte Vista! A truly beautiful and exceptional venue! Well maintained, and full of history. Joe was super attentive and respectful. Tony, our Chef, Cameron, our bartender, and Trish, our wedding planner helped us enjoy the best wedding we could have hoped for. Frank DiSalvo as Frank Sinatra closed out the night! Awesome. The evening lighting highlighted the scene (trees, grounds), and then the doors opening to Joe's special room, and then out walks Frank, opening with one of Sinatra's hits. Sounding just like Sinatra and with the CDMV setting around us, we were transported in time. What a memorable event, staff, and venue. Highly recommended.

Casa Monte Vista is an absolute gem in Palm Springs! We were there just for a pool day visit, and it completely won us over. The property is lush and beautifully green--like a hidden oasis. The owner is fantastic, truly a great guy who makes you feel right at home. Next time we're in Palm Springs, we'd absolutely stay for several nights. This place is a must-stay, and we can't wait to come back!

We would drive past this property for years and gaze at the perfectly planted palm tree oasis from outside the gate. It's a show-stopper of a venue, even from the street. I never even dreamed that it was a wedding venue that would invite us inside! Upon entering through the gorgeous wood gate, all my senses were engaged. I was first met with a lush fountain when the most peaceful sound of water flowing opened my ears to hear more of nature nestled at home in this oasis. The gorgeous Spanish architecture, with inviting ornate and exotic treasures around every corner, I was caught up in the gorgeous greenery that is woven in every nook and cranny of the property, each corner showcasing a new piece of history and nature. It all seemed so natural, yet I knew it was curated with great care and design. I hardly even noticed that I stepped out of time. The natural beauty and awe of this place was an invitation back to the old Palm Springs glory days when Hollywood came to relax and celebrate. I wouldn't have been surprised to see Liberace cross the grass or Lucille Ball floating in the pool. This is where Hollywood came to let down their hair & enjoy life as it was meant to be enjoyed. I was only here for a short 7-hour wedding day, and I left enamored. Casa Monte Vista tells stories around every bend and invites you into its quarters, which have never tried to be anything other than what they have always been--a place to relax, savor, and celebrate. And then I met Joe! Joe's energy is one with the property. He comes in so calm and relaxed, wildly untamed yet unforced and somehow curated with great care, intention, and attention to detail. He was so hospitable and welcoming. He loves the property, and it shows as his eyes twinkle when he tells the stories of the life lived at Casa de Monte Vista. I've been photographing weddings in the Palm Springs area for 18 years, and I had the best wedding meal of my life HERE! Under Chef Tony. Watching him and his team prepare dinner during cocktail hour at the bar was another unexpected treat. To watch Chef Tony season and LOVE the food he was preparing was a culinary experience for all the wedding guests. The food at a wedding typically happens behind the scenes and the dry chicken just appears on a plate at your table. But here, our noses were invited into each flavor, our eyes to see the measure of talent and care, and our taste buds met with anticipation as the meal was being cooked and seasoned. It was a really cool experience that my words are not bringing justice to. An aspect to enjoying this food started with watching it be prepared. That also fits the era of the venue, back when life was simple, and food took time to prepare. I can still taste the trip-tip and green beans with mushroom gravy. This venue was an experience. I felt like I was floating in a dream all night, and I cannot wait to go back. If you're looking for the quintessential Palm Springs venue, Casa de Monte Vista is it!

I've had the pleasure of photographing weddings a couple of times at this beautiful venue. The grounds are incredible, the rooms are beautiful and the venue has some wonderful Palm Springs history. The owners are incredibly nice and great to work with, the first time I was there they should me around and pointed out all the little spots and locations this venue has to offer for wedding days. I would highly recommend this wedding venue to couples.

We recently had the most incredible experience at Casa de Monte Vista, where my husband surprised me with a private dinner at the very place we got married. From start to finish, the entire evening was nothing short of magical. Joe went above and beyond to make the night truly special, ensuring every detail was perfect. His warm hospitality and attentiveness made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The setting was beautiful, the ambiance was intimate, and the service was impeccable. It felt like we were reliving one of the most important days of our lives, but in an even more personal way. We can't thank Joe enough for making this night so memorable and we look forward to visiting again soon!

What a wonderful and delightful oasis in Palm Springs. So close to all of the main street restaurants and shops yet secluded and private. Joe and the staff take care of anything you need and are always accessible but never over present. If rest and relaxation is the goal Casa de Monte Vista is a great choice for lounging by the pool, strolling the grounds or sitting on your patio. The Casa de Antigua room has a small kitchenette with enough to make simple breakfast or even dinner if you want to stay in. I look forward to returning here next time my partner and I go to Palm Springs.
