Customer Reviews & Testimonials
We loved this hotel! Considering it's age, it had two very nice pools. The room had a kitchen which was a surprise to me and the beds were very comfortable. We had a beautiful patio with lounge chairs that we used every day. Everything downtown was within walking distance which was very convenient. We did not get to try the restaurant or the bar since we spent most of our time in downtown restaurants or at my daughter's house. It looked very clean and welcoming. The lobby coffee and water were very good! The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Only one complaint, the towels were not very white and the bathroom was small, but they were clean so it felt like home. I highly recommend staying in this hotel.
Great location, quite, great neighborhood walking. Close to downtown walking, be prepared to walk, Quick drive too. Good pool service and concierge service. Had a great visit rooms are very nice. Highly recommend staying at the Triada. Lots of history and beautiful scenery. We will be back!
I spent 2 nights at the Triada in May 2025 and absolutely loved my experience. Here's why... From the minute we rolled up in our car rental at 10pm, a valet guy greeted us and helped us with our bags while taking the time to share hotel details that normally a valet wouldn't. I've been to hotels where it's hard to get assistance when you arrive late at night but this was not the case. We were immediately checked in to our room, given a brief history of the hotel, 2 complimentary drink vouchers to try their "Triada Bloody Mary" (there's a backstory!) and dinner recommendations in case we planned to venture out for a late bite. Our room was so perfect! A large suite with a full kitchen and living room area. The bed was on point! So comfortable! I'm a stickler when it comes to bathrooms and ours was spacious and felt new and modern! Additionally our room came with a private patio that was great for enjoying coffee and, in our case, taking important work calls. Triada has a Spanish house vibe. We found out that it actually used to be a residence which explains the architecture and details. There are a lot of cute corners overflowing with cacti and flowering succulents, romantic staircases, verandas, fountains and fire pits. Triada has a romantic European feel and lends itself to a lot of nice selfies and group photos! Our room #210 was located near cozy fire-pit and gurgling fountain in the Corazon Courtyard. The room was super clean and stocked with everything we needed to dine in-room and prep for hikes. The cleaning staff are really on top of things here. My favorite part of staying here was the pool. Keep in mind there are 2 pools: Pool B (salt water pool) and Pool D (fresh water pool). My husband and I prefered Pool D as it's the more charming one, with a nice mountain view. We totally hung out at the pool all day sipping on our Triada Bloody Mary's. If you're traveling with a pup like we were, this is a very dog-friendly establishment. There's a large square of green grass for the dogs to walk on and the winding paths will be fun for them to explore as well. Location-wise you can't go wrong as Triada is in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. I highly recommend crossing the street to get bfast or brunch at Cafe La Jefa in the Flannery Exchange building. There's also Cheeky's close by for the same. Copley's and Birba Restaurants are also directly across the street for finer dining. Lots of great shopping is within a 5-10 minute stroll from Triada. And if you need to walk your pet every morning like I did, I highly recommend walking along the streets behind the hotel where you'll find a really adorable neighborhood of mid-century modern homes to gawk at. For anything you need at Triada, Danielle (the front office mgr) is your girl. She gave us great local recommendations and lots of useful info. One last thing to mention is that the Triada restaurant stays open until around 10pm to accommodate in-room orders. The food is pretty straight forward, and while I'd recommend venturing out of the hotel for food, it's nice to have the restaurant as a back-up if you check-in late and are too tired to go out like we were on our first night. You can honestly not go wrong here. Enjoy your stay at Triada!
It was a great stay - very clean and the staff went above and beyond!! The resort had a very tropical feel. We will look forward to staying again. Ricardo was very pleasant and customer oriented as was Gilbert and the whole team. Can't wait to return.
I just found out that this hotel was built in 1928...literally my favorite hotel! The architecture is just something you don't see anymore. The rooms are clean, smell wonderful and have been renovated while maintaining the original beauty. I just can't say enough how beautiful and quaint this property is and especially if you love historical properties. Be sure to walk around every part of the property...such a work of art this place is!
This is a pleasant hotel apart from the price gouge during Coachella. We could not change our hotel dates and were not going to Coachella - we realised that this is a busy time to visit the hotel but it wasn't helpful when the person checking us in said that room rates had been $200-$300 that week when we were paying $700-$800. The hotel is one hour away from Coachella - when we queried the rate they said they had high occupancy. It is not worth that amount of money - very small pool and poor dining options. We did like our room and it was surprisingly quiet given the high occupancy. There is a small layby in the front of the hotel for parking when you arrive - then valet take the car. This was confusing when we arrived from the other direction so it would be helpful if the hotel could explain this in advance. Nobody explained that there was a second pool, there didn't seem to be any communal sitting areas.
Relaxing stay at hotel . Thank you Ricardo for making my drinks and being so nice ! Pool is nice and has a heated one as well. Rooms are clean and updated . Close to areas and walking to downtown . Room had a great view of mountains and you can see them through a gate at heated pool .
We've traveled to many countries and stayed at numerous hotels, but without a doubt, this has been the best one yet! The service was beyond excellent. A special shout-out to B in the kitchen, who went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions with such care and attention. Chris, who helped us with valet parking, made our experience even smoother with his friendly and professional attitude. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service and hospitality!
