An interesting variety of wines that were all delicious. The wine tasting event was an excellent experience in a wonderful home setting. Blair provided a thorough talk on the history of Al Lago with much knowledge on wine-making. Simone did a great job paring the wine with food and making a tasty dessert. An event to remember. The Sonata 2018 was our favorite.

Incredible wine tasting and learning experience. Had the rare opportunity to sample 9 varieties of Al Lago wine. All exquisite. All varieties showed off their splendor. Sophisticated yet everyday drinkable. Paired with scrumptious food offerings. So hard to choose favorites! By far the best wine tasting and just darn fun!!

Al Lago is an absolute gem of all of the Paso Robles tasting rooms. We were a party of 4 and were so well hosted by Matthew that we cannot wait to return. We are Italian wine lovers and the Al Lago wine was outstanding as well as unique. It was my 70th bday celebration with family and Matthew made our experience so very memorable. Especially if you like Italian wine, everyone should treat themselves to Al Lago wine and their outstanding service.

Dear Blair and Simone, visiting your majestic estate and tasting your luscious wines was such a treat. You were both so welcoming and truly treated us like family. Simone you are such a fabulous cook! I want to come over every weekend!! I love your wines, they are first class and I feel I have a fairly sophisticated palate. Fantastic wine! All the wines that were poured were incredible. Balanced, intense, complex, with a long finish. This was true for most all of them, but especially true of the Sarah blend and the very special Romanza! Blair and Simone were incredible hosts, and Simone's appetizers were the bomb! Thank you you too so very much!

Al Lago is an amazing winery. Matthew is very knowledgeable and makes you feel like family. All of the wines we tasted were superb, especially the 2018 Aria-Syrah. Highly recommended and we joined their club!!
