Customer Reviews & Testimonials
First timers to Central Valley. Membership pays--especially at Hope on Park. We were referred by Michael from the Austin Hope winery as part of our new found membership. The team here got us in with a very short notice and was excellent. Wes was an ultimate guide from beginning to end of our experience. We tasted many varietals and when we thought it was over, Nikki made suggestions that blew us away. The entire experience was personable and exciting. Thank you!
Top of the line wine tasting experience! Tara was personable, knowledgeable about every and all aspects of wine, and fun. I highly recommend asking for her. The atmosphere is classy yet relaxing. The charcuterie is the best including the yummy caviar. I can't say enough good things! This is by far the best experience you will ever have tasting!
This was hands down the best wine tasting experience we have had. From the very start with a saber opening of bubbly to the end with us leaving with a membership, it was amazing. Nikki is our home girl forever now. Her service and knowledge can't be beaten. The ambience is outstanding. But the the wine, of course, is top of the line. We cannot recommend enough.
Wow what a great experience! I emailed dreamweaver Ryah and she set us up for an amazing experience. She was super helpful and made communication prior to visiting easy. We chose the AH vertical experience. Our host Wes was top notch. He welcomed us with a sabre champagne opening. Wes was informative and friendly. He also allowed our party plenty of time to just hangout and enjoy the wines without hovering. The space is so cool and funky as well. They welcomed our whole party which included a baby and 2 dogs! I highly recommend!
If Michelin awarded stars to tasting rooms, Hope on Park would have them all. From the moment we stepped inside, the space felt both luxurious and inviting--plush jewel-toned furniture, warm lighting, and stylish details make it as beautiful as it is comfortable. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, with plenty of Instagram-worthy moments. The attention to detail here is next level. Thoughtful touches--like a personal coat rack for your bag (so it never touches the floor), an Hermes-inspired wine carrier, and a surprise take-home gift--elevate the experience beyond expectations. To top it off, espresso or tea is offered to close out the tasting, a refined touch that makes you feel truly pampered. We opted for the blind tasting and had an absolute blast, thanks to our incredible host, Wes. His energy, knowledge, and hospitality made the experience even more engaging. And the snack tray? Next level. Imagine caviar, duck rillettes, and artfully presented bites that perfectly complemented the wines. From start to finish, we felt relaxed, entertained, and completely immersed in the moment. And how did it all begin? With Wes sabering a bottle of bubbles to kick off the party. It was, hands down, one of the best tasting experiences I've ever had. Highly recommend--this is wine tasting at its finest!
There's new Hope on Park (HOP)!! Wow! You don't want to miss this unique opportunity! HOP on it right now! This is where wine tasting dreams come true, and it is quite remarkable. This creative space in downtown Paso is only a month old. Nikki, who runs Il Cortile restaurant in Paso, invited us to meet her at HOP on Sun 7/14 at 2 pm. Amber, the Dream Weaver, who manages HOP, reached out to our party of 4 beforehand to customize our preferences for the experience. We arrived and were greeted by Nikki at the back entrance. She was the perfect host. Her expertise, experience, and hospitality were on full display. Our fantastic journey began with Nikki sabering (sabrage) a bottle of sparkling wine. Then we went inside to the beautiful creative space, where we spent the next several hours. Each of us tasted a mystery wine in a black tasting glass. It took "blind tasting" to the next level, as even the color of the wine could not be seen through the black glass. Using a wine aroma kit, Nikki had us sniff different aromas to help us try to identify the wine. Lots of guessing, notetaking and laughs. We moved on to a wine and food extravaganza, which included fresh baked artisanal bread, caviar, cheeses, and assorted treats/snacks. We sampled many wines from the Austin Hope collection and the 2001 Treana white blend was incredible. Several of the chardonnays were also particularly good. Overall, great teamwork by Nikki and Amber to deliver exemplary customer service. We each left with a swag bag, a shot of espresso, several cases of wine and both couples joined the Austin Hope wine club. When you go, please ask for Nikki. You will not be disappointed! An incredible experience!
You have to check this place out! Everything was wonderful and so much detail goes into the experience. Ryah and Wes were amazing and provided excellent customer service. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it extra special. We are already planning to go back. Don't forget to order the Snack Tower, it's a long tasting, you'll want it!
It was a sentimental first visit for me earlier this week to Hope on Park. My partner who passed away earlier this year used to be a member at Austin Hope and their wine had been special to us these last several years. When my friend and I had to come down to pick up an old club shipment of his at another winery, I knew I had to stop here. Originally when we booked the reservation they let us know the tasting experience would last (at least) a whole two hours, coming from the Napa region we couldn't imagine how that would be possible for "just" a tasting. How incorrect we were, in such a good way. We were there for 3 solid hours and we could have easily stayed four. Our host Wes gave us one of the most memorable wine tasting experiences ever, and we've been wine tasting countless hundreds of times. His light and fun conversation, service, attentiveness, understanding of our situation, and all around a great time has raised such a high bar in the wine educator realm that I wish I could have given him more than a great review and a tip. Owners if you are reading this: Wes is gold! Safe to say after our special wine tasting visit we purchased bottles of wine. After we had checked out and were getting ready to leave, Wes came back with a signed bottle from the staff and with my partner's name inscribed on the side, in honor of him. I couldn't believe it. This was above and beyond and I began to cry. We took a group photo together. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!
