Iron Oaks Winery

Wonderful experience. If you tip well enough the owner is willing to give all night cuddles back at the ranch. Beard tickles but only in a good way. Be sure to wear sandals and Paloma might even clean your toes with her delightful tongue. Wine is decent too!

ALMOST hate to give it a great review because we love hidden treasure but we will never visit Paso (which we do often) without a stop at Iron Oaks. The cider is excellent, the wines interesting, the crowd and decor second to none, and the pizza legendary - don't miss!!

Nice casual place with a great value tasting! We loved the tasting names and menu descriptions, and it's always interesting hearing background on the pours. At one point, the owner was introducing and pouring a couple of the wines. I appreciate seeing an owner who loves what he does and engages with his customers. There were some kids who were playing a cork game and having a ball, very wholesome! Highly recommend!

Lively place, delicious wine and cider. Owner is a hoot, makes you feel welcome! I had that ranahan and it was delightful.

Ambiance is warm and inviting; the whole place smells like a warm hug with a hint of bbq. Small but delicious selection of very drinkable reds, plus great beer and a cider that absolutely blew my mind. Enormously grateful that we stumbled in here and looking forward to coming back.

Iron Oaks Winery is a hidden gem in downtown Paso Robles. We had such a great time with Vino Cowboy that we could have stayed for hours. Vino Cowboy has great stories to share and if you get lucky enough, you can end up on the hall of fame. We enjoyed sipping on the 4 different wines he poured.

This tasting room was absolutely amazing! Doug is the man, the wine is fantastic, and the atmosphere can't be beat. Will be coming back every time!

This place was a great palate cleanser (pun intended) to close out our trip to Paso. If you're looking for a tasting room that's down to earth and doesn't take itself too seriously, this is the place for you (the wine descriptions made us laugh ). Loved the western decor and Doug, the owner, was very friendly and generous. They had some wines that you don't find other places, which made for an even better tasting. Very glad we stopped in here!
