Customer Reviews & Testimonials
I requested an account data deletion for no longer using an account and the paid tier plan (see SendGrid support article "Request account data deletion" #18017175645595). What should be a straightforward request to have data and PII deleted ended up in a complex chain of requests to "validate" the account ownership. I'm talking about mailing emails to support using the API, confirmation of previous method of payment, billing name, previous bill amounts, screenshots, etc. The back and forth has been going for over a month and is not resolved. Every time information was provided, they asked to complete more steps and provide information. I also tried to "downgrade" the paid plan to free tier, and got vague errors, which support never resolved, while asking for multiple screenshots, which I provided. Fortunately, I was able to remove the payment method, but I am still receiving invoices. I understand the importance of verifying account ownership, but this seems like voluntary tactics to discourage customers from going through the process of cancelling paid plans or deleting account data. Now that I provided all necessary information, and went through all their steps, they are radio silent. If you value your time and your data, do not use SendGrid or any Twilio products.
Worst customer service ever ! Never had this kind of bad experience. From a consumer aspect that tried to get customers support, Feels like no one really works there and it's running on Ai agents Wake up or just don't offer BAD Support.....
I created an account suing business email and immediately got response that the account is closed, when I contacted support, asking for the reason, they said that their solution is not fit for my case, I replied asking for explanation on how they made this decision, given that I only provided my name and email address, so how did they reach this conclusion, I got a rude replay saying they do not provide justification and that the case is closed! I am definitely moving other projects that I already have with them to other providers because this behaviour is not tolerated for me.
Source of so much spam to our domain. Impossible to get removed.
This company is responsible for the deluge of scam calls that regular American people receive non-stop. They provide the tools and phone numbers to facilitate the constant harassment of people by FOREIGN obnoxious scammers and spammers. Each and every day I see a call come in from a new number that says Twilio VOIP, my hatred for this organization is re-invigorated. It is an absolutely disgusting abomination comprised of indecent people turning a blind eye to robocalls for the sake of immense profits! They have been recently issued CEASE AND DESIST notices by the Federal Government due to turning a blind eye to robocalls and ignoring the use of their network by cybercriminals. Shame on you, Twilio!
I use this product because it does allow you to send a large quantity of emails. But their customer service is the worst. There is no phone support and when you click the link for support contact you must fill in and write an email support ticket. I sent about 4 support tickets and have never received a reply or response other than an auto reply. I pay $34.95 per month for this service. I am looking for another company to replace sendgrid. I would suggest you look for another company that offers at least some sort of support. But don't go with this company or you will regret it. (This is the first negative review I have ever written)
Product looks good BUT the main function "sending mails" did not work at all!! In our paid plan we sent transactional e-mail and and a small campaign for blackfriday. After a few hours existing customers reported that they did not recieved their booking confirmation and we also saw that from our black friday camapign only 150 of 1.000 mails showed up in sendgrid. We quit on the same day. There were also many problems during the first setup: > old account could not be reactivated > creating new account worked but verifing e-mail adress did not work > after we contected the support the could fix it after a few days The support response was good till we switched to a paid plan. Maybe it was a coincidence.
This is one of the worst experiences I've had. They are only able to send around 4/5 emails, because they fail to control and detect spam customers. They do absolutely nothing about it and expect to keep charging people. Do not work with this company.
