Tech 2U

I told them I would write a PHAT review for them since they helped me out so much! I built my own workstation, and over the past couple months it started crashing. After swapping out nearly everything over the course of 8 months to try to fix the issue (cpu, ram, etc) I was stuck in a dead end. Turns out, Tech2U does FREE DIAGNOSTIC! I took my pc in, they said it'd be a couple days and it should be ready by Monday. Monday rolls around, and it's ready! They found the issue was the OS hard drive being old and needing to be replaced. I chose to take my computer home after the diagnostic to fix it, but I could not have done it without them. They were on time, told me exactly what I needed to know, and told me what the fixes were over the phone. THAT is great service. Shoutout to Alex (I think that was his name) for some grade A service. Bro deserves a raise for being able to figure this out!

Tech 2u on howe avenue has great customer service. At every point I felt like I completely understood everything that was going on. I felt like I was building my computer with them and they were not just telling me what to do. The price to put it together was reasonable and I worked with four different individuals on different days. Every single one of them had excellent customer service and knowledge and never once did I feel like they were talking down to me.

I was very happy with Tech 2U. I dropped off my devise on Saturday afternoon. They offer free estimates. I got a call on Sunday and the tech was very friendly and explained everything to me. It was finished that day. When I picked it up they went over things again and explained it all to me. Made sure I was happy with the work. I would definitely recommend them!!

The worker that came to my house was nice but charged almost $300 to pull out a couple dusty ram sticks. On top of that, he didn't bring or have any compressed air to blow out the dust on my computer. If I'm spending 300 for this, at least clean the ram sticks in question. I definitely recommend going to a local computer repair shop instead. They'll at least charge accurately for whatever the issue is

Very thorough. Answered all my questions. Found a data saver device that allowed me to download and save 400 photos of Yosemite. Generous about sharing his knowledge of computers. Didn't make me feel like a computer know nothing, which I am. The realtor selling this house has already asked for your business name and phone number.

The tech was very professional and explained the process thoroughly. They did the renewal installation in a timely manner and called me back promptly to let me know the installation was completed. I very much appreciate their timely professional services.

Dropped off my laptop Fri, 3/7/25, I was informed that their diagnostic test may take 2-3days , but it only took 1 day, I love how they do business , they also gave a very honest opinion about my laptop. Thanks Tech 2U you, guys are the BEST!

We dropped our computer off for service and when we went to pick it I trusted that it was my computer. I didn't take a good look at the case to ensure it had a DVD and where the thumb drive slots were. I didn't look at the back either. We took it home and immediately realized it was NOT our computer. I called, and they denied anything was wrong. I told them I had pictures of my computer and stated we were bringing it back. I spoke to Jeff, who said he needed time to call and look into my complaint. I was very concerned they gave my computer to someone else. Jeff told me not to come back because they could not help me at the shop and that they would bring my computer to me. He was clearly stalling me and kept me on the phone arguing with me. We had loaded the computer in our car and agreed to wait for him to make calls. It took him over 30 minutes to call me and he insisted we had our computer. He said he had it on video, and I demanded they show it to me. I told him I had pictures of my computer. While we were inside, his staff switched computers without telling me. They just opened my car and switched them, and Jeff insisted we had picked up our computer. Why would I make up such a story? I would not. This computer belongs to a lawyer and has sensitive personal information. I called my neighbor to see if she saw any vehicles near my house, and she said she did and was about to call me to tell me. Jeff was lying to try to lessen their liability. I detest liars, and he should be fired. I would never go back to this business because they can't be trusted.
