Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Chris P.

They were a 10/10 ISP, but they were sold to Comcast and will be gone at the end of February 2025

Michael Whaley

I think the high speed internet is excellent, and the folks who work there have always been polite and kind to me. As we know in my part of San Bruno, when a storm hits the power fails. San Bruno Cable always stays up. I can run 2 days on backup. The ISP never fails.

Austin Garcia

The people don't seem bad so this isn't a review on them, but rather just San Bruno's internet problem as a whole. They're outdated and need to let 3rd party companies back in. Competition is good for the consumer, not this monopoly the city has. Especially when the internet they provide to the majority of the city is trash. Max 300 Mbps download, and a measly 10 Mbps upload in 2024? Fast internet should be a right, not a privilege anymore

Horrible customer Service... Ooops What's Customer service means to them. Called Multiple times in different days and hours tried get to a live person to discussed the bills over the cancelled account over 3 months ago but still receiving invoice, but their isn't any response and AI answering programmed to simply hangup. Let's not talk about internet service as this page won't have room for me to write. What is this so call San Bruno City net service received funding to improve but how? I am glad I have got out.

The service is fine most of the time but they create their own problems and customer service is zombies who are not interested in win-win solutions. For example, my service was cut today with no warning because my autopay credit card expired. Warning email or text? Nope. I would have happily updated it to start current. When I told customer service that better communication could have avoided this problem altogether, I got defensiveness and a general "that's how we do it" response. No interest in improvement. Maybe they are just looking for the $40 recommend fees? They offered to waive mine and immediately hung up, so no idea what their goal was. Weird company.

They are not quite as advanced as other providers (must fax your application or submit in person) but the people there are great and efficient. A short 5-10 minute conversation was all that was needed to submit my info. They noticed I had my own modem and sent the info to their technician. They called back a few hours later the same day to confirm that my modem and plan would work fine, and luckily no technician even needed to visit my property. No up-selling plans or promos or anything Glad to see San Bruno treating the internet as a utility!

Raised my rate without a notice not a email not a letter nothing. Terrible customer service and if you have issues on the weekends you're pretty much screwed till Monday a lot of people told me about how bad san Bruno cable is I should have listened to them.Deservingly a 2.5 best. Do yourself a favor get infinity AT&t U-verse any of those but do not get San Bruno Cable hopefully they'll go under one day. They have to be at least 10 years behind all the other.

San Bruno Cable thinks its ok to block the sound only on conservative shows such as Gutfeld, Hannity, Mark Levine. I for one consider the blocking of sound by political belief to be Anti American and a complete slap in our faces. How dare you San Bruno Cable.
