An excellent winery! Delicious wines and reasonable prices. Paul, the owner/winemaker, treats his customers like family. The wine club is a great deal with 40% discounts. They are only open on select Saturdays, and currently only by reservation, so I recommend emailing before you go. They make many single varietals and blends (sav blanc, chardonnay, cabs, merlots, meritages, roses, pinot, tempranillo, barbera, etc) that are all top notch. Support your local winery!

This is a really fun winery to visit. It's got a very charming tasting room that includes both inside and outside tables. Even more important is the awesome and attentive staff that provides you with a comfortable and safe experience. One of the few wineries I've visited where I like all their wines and there are so many different ones to choose from. Paul the owner and winemaker really knows his stuff when it comes to making wine. Highly recommend.

This wine is fabulous! Seriously people. It's a very nice and relaxing place serving up their own label... that you may not have expected to be in San Carlos. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You will want to take some home for sure.

Old County Cellars (OCC) operates out of here. I was across the street drinking beer at Devils canyon and needed something different so I ran into OCC that day. Joined their wine club to get some free tastings and have been a member since. I'm not a white drinker but the Albarrino white is the best white I have ever had!

Premier artisanal wine producer. Paul Rodgerville sources the best grapes from California to make award winning wines. Recently I tried the Old Vine Zinfandel and it blew my socks off.

Really great reds. Not too barrel-flavored and the host was very knowledgeable. Recommend the Pinot and the Merlot.

Great wine, and Paul is very sociable with everyone and makes it fun, even if it's your first visit.
