TERRIBLE. Was never able to stream ANYTHING. Once I cancelled I received a box to send back the modem, cables, etc. Called and asked about the dish and they said no need to send that back. Well, apparently there was a component of the dish that did need to go back. Rather than let me know I missed something they sent me to collections. I called and asked why and they said there was a part of the dish I didn't return. So, I climbed up and removed the piece, sent it back, confirmed receipt via UPS, called to confirm with HughesNet, and thought all was good. Just got another collections letter from a different collector for the same thing. Their customer service is WORSE than the internet and by the end I couldn't even send/receive emails. Snail mail was more effective.

HughesNet needs better internet service in the copper gulch area in Cotopaxi. All they offer is a 2-year contract where other internet services are a month to month. Their service is spotty up there works then it doesn't work! Florida and Colorado acres subdivisions are expanding rapidly in this company could grow their earnings quickly if they were to get better service up there..

Ive never had such bad installation They came installed pole with dish no concrete so wind moved the dish around Called and 2 weeks later a tech came out and he went and got 6 rocks and placed them around pole still no concrete so right after the so called technician left a strong wind moved the dish again Seriously people this is how you do business Over 2 years later im still getting billed Hughesnet is the worst net

Hughes net is a complete rip off!! The first month we ran out of data on the 21st day. The second month they say we used all the data in one day! I paid $40. I got $30 discount. They gave me $25off for sign up. So $95 for 1 day internet?? And the Internet sucks. It is so slow, buffers, the picture is unclear and the dish they put on your house could send messages to space it's huge!! Big headache and hassle

Absolutely awful. The internet is a scam. As time goes on our internet is being eaten up faster. We only connect tvs to it to preserve it. We can't even watch an hour a night without running out before the end of the month. On top of that it's hardly functional, it's slow and spends most of its time buffering. If you make a phone call on the wifi, people on the other end can't hear you due to the horrible connection. They lock you into a contract, these people are nothing but thieves. Save yourself the money and get starlink...or literally anything else. I can't describe the happiness and joy it would bring me to see this company fail and go under, no human deserves to deal with the frustration this terrible wifi brings. They charge you hundreds of dollars to cancel their terrible service. This WiFi is probably the biggest financial mistake I've even made. Read the other similar reviews that I didn't, and you'll find this is a horrible company. To anyone at HughesNet, you should be ashamed to stand with such an awful service and company. If they provide this kind of service I can't imagine how they treat employees, find somewhere that will appreciate you, and a place you can be proud to represent.

Terrible service for over a year now. any time of day or night. Hotspot on mobile phone outperforms. Sloppy install of dish on house. Speed reminds me of dial up back in the day. No wonder they lock you into a three year contract.

They said that we had a modem or router, one of the 2 and charged us. We don't have a router or anything of that sort but cords. Their service is completely useless and kept trying to see what out other serve we had gone to and told them it was none of their business. I WILL NOT but from this company ever again. Completely unreliable and their customer service is horrible.
