A few months back, I agreed to leave a glowing testimonial for this outfit after their account manager called me three times in one afternoon, insisting they'd "win a team bonus" if they could collect one more five-star review. Wanting to be helpful--and admittedly impressed by their sales pitch--I posted the praise before they'd finished the first phase of work on my site. That generosity came back to bite me. Since then I've asked no fewer than seven times for valid admin credentials so I can check the progress on my project, and every set of details they send either logs me into a blank dashboard or throws a "user disabled" error. Each ticket I open gets a canned response: "Our engineers are investigating." Meanwhile, deadlines have slipped week after week, and the only real updates I get are fresh invoices. The final straw was finding three separate charges on my card--one for "maintenance," another for "priority hosting," and a third labeled simply "miscellaneous services." None of those terms appear anywhere in the PDF contract they emailed me. When I pushed back, they produced a "revised agreement" with my e-signature pasted onto it--something I never signed. At this point, my advice is simple: if you're already involved with them, swap out your payment method immediately and keep every scrap of correspondence. If you haven't signed yet, save yourself the migraine and look elsewhere. Good luck.

I'm still fuming after my disastrous experience with BrandStar Digital. I reached out to them for help with a social media campaign, and what I got was a nightmare. The initial email from their "Account Manager" (whose name I've since blocked out of my memory) was condescending and dismissive, like they were doing me a favor by even responding. The tone was super unprofessional, and I immediately sensed a red flag. But, I thought, maybe they'll step up their game once we start working together. WRONG. They promised me personalized services, tailored to my brand's unique needs, but what I got was a cookie-cutter approach that seemed to be designed to fleece me of my hard-earned cash. Their "expert" (I use the term loosely) promised me 10,000 followers on Instagram within a month, but what actually happened was that they created fake accounts to inflate my numbers. I only found out when I started getting complaints from actual fans who were confused by the sudden onslaught of spammy engagement. When I confronted them about the fake followers, their response was to send me a generic email apologizing for the "misunderstanding" and asking if I wanted to "upgrade" to a more expensive package that would supposedly give me "real" engagement. Are you kidding me?! Don't waste your time and money on BrandStar Digital. They're a bunch of scammers who will do whatever it takes to separate you from your cash. Take my review as a warning and steer clear of this toxic company. UPDATE: I've since reported BrandStar Digital to the relevant authorities and will be taking further action to protect others from falling victim to their deceitful practices.
