No where on their website or could any employee send me the terms for hosting. I gave them a try and decided to stick w/ GoDaddy. When I notified them I was cancelling my Hosting service w/i 30 days of starting, I was told the item is not cancellable after 3 days of opening the account. This is completely ridiculous as anyone w/ a brain would try out a service prior to abandoning their current provider. Especially a Web hosting service. Great job in getting this review:)

Web.com kept charging my credit card for service renewals without providing a notice, statement, bill, invoice, or any similar document describing the terms of the renewals and any changes to its policy and pricing. And there wasn't a way to disable auto-renewal. So, I repeatedly demanded that it delete my credit card information, but it refused every time. On a few other occasions, I told it to use another email address to send me information and responses. It refused. When a representative finally agreed to update the address, I still didn't get the messages I was expecting. This on-going trouble prompted me to request service cancellation. The company terminated the service, but then declined to issue a refund even though I had previously received a written promise from a supervisor that I was entitled to a refund for the unused period. After three long arduous phone calls, it finally paid the refund. After these actions and incidents, I am now convinced that they were all part of a unscrupulous plan to furtively coerce me into continuing with the renewals. There were no notifications before the renewal to give me a chance to review the terms of service and determine whether I wanted to continue with it. So, when it amended the requirements, I knew nothing about them. It refused to update my email address multiple times. The lack of notification or response left me in the dark. All the while, it held on to my credit card data and was charging my credit card at will. Even though the service is now cancelled, I still have no confidence it has deleted my payment method data and will not try to charge me again. I believe Web.com's business practices are obfuscatory, deceptive and coercive, having the effect of keeping customers uninformed about its policy and pricing and facilitating its efforts to unfairly extract money from them for as long as possible.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We purchase a .com with simple site builder. We were able to log into the account and play around with site builder via cell phone. When we attempted to log back in via desktop we could not. The message appeared to contact customer service. Upon contacting customer service we were informed the .com was stop because of fraud. The card used and all information is in no way fraudulent. It's been 4 days without a call or email from this company. We have spoke to 5 different customer representatives by calling in and they all say the same thing. Someone will response to you within the next 24 hours. Yard signs, door hangers and business were ordered once the domain name was purchased. So here we are with advertisement material paid for and available for pick up with no where to send the customers to. There still has not been a reason given for fraud or fraudulent activity. Our financial institution has not put a stop on anything from there end.

They finally canceled my Arvixe account after I requested this in the previous billing cycle, thus charging me for additional cycle. They have a clumsy administrative web panel that doesn't easily let you contact anyone. Simply emailing them doesn't work.

Don't use them. They lack basic self awareness and provide misleading replies to legitimate questions. Communication is limited to a chat box and is largely useless. Billing is misleading and you don't know what you're paying for. Don't think - run!

They have been deducting from my personal checking account over $6200.00 since 2020 without my knowledge or permission for a product /service I never ordered or authorized. I have requested a refund and they say it has been denied because I never cancelled the product. I never ordered the product! They will not provide proof that I ordered the product they claim i ordered. I did have website hosting with them that was never renewed and the website has been deactivated since 2020. The product in question is not they website hosting! They have been fraudulently deducting money from my account all of these years! They have not offered any resolution in any form except to say they cancelled the product!

Please, avoid them. The service works, it is not the best nor the worst, but the problems are recurrent with a technical support that responds but takes a long time between messages (days or even weeks) to achieve a concrete solution. Many of these solutions never arrive. They implement software updates and change versions without previously notifying users, making your site unusable. The company's communication with the client is non-existent, they just send your invoice and that's it. They also limit the contracted services without prior notice and justify it as "improvements". It really is a bad investment and a waste of time to use their services. This was my experience. If you want to try them anyway, obviously do so, but there are also many other experiences shared here that I unfortunately did not believe.
