My company does Shopify integrations for many of our clients. We've been using Eniture Technologies' quoting apps and FreightDesk.online product on a few of the sites we and our partners manage. When it works, their technology is pretty great and does what it needs to do. When it doesn't work, at times, we could tell from the outside that their support staff was overworked and understaffed. We did not receive the troubleshooting attention that was needed to get a paying customer of our client to be able to move through the checkout process. Our client lost their customer and the revenue from that sale as a result. The main issue stems from observability. If you use their service, you have ZERO ability to see what happens when the shipping button is clicked during checkout and it goes wrong/fails/prevents checkout. You have ZERO ability to figure out why shipments were split in odd ways or shipments simply did not get transferred to FreightDesk.online. Not all of their plugins work together so installing DIY Real Time Freight Quotes with one of the other LTL quoting tools results in weird edge case bugs that prevent smooth checkout. When you call, the issue gets fixed after 24 - 48 hours of a store's customer waiting and in the case of the aforementioned edge cases, it can take weeks. After resolution, you do not get the information you need to prevent the failure from happening again. Their apps provide no way to communicate USPS, UPS, LTL, API call failures to the store's customer so that a theme can politely ask the customer to try again at a later time. You will always be forced to put in a ticket and wait. You'll lose customers over this support model. I want to give them a five-star rating but it's the follow through that prevents that. Additional observations from the outside as a customer. FreightDesk.online has not received a single improvement in over a year of use. The DIY Real Time Quoting app hasn't had an update in many months from a feature standpoint other than to roll in one of the other carriers that triggered the edge case bugs that appear when using two or more of their plugins together. Most of the other Shopify apps we use provide the us/customer with some level of debug/transactional information visible to them when something goes wrong with the app. This is especially true with apps you will use in the checkout process where success and failure translates directly to customer retention. This company provides none of that and you will at one point lose a customer because of this. If you know this going in, then the app will work for you and it does the job it advertises. When it works, it mostly works well. Hoping some larger organization buys them out so that the customer service and improvement that is so desperately needs will materialize. Meanwhile, we are halting all new implementations on their platform (3 in the pipeline) and are looking for alternate LTL solutions for Shopify.
