Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Great service and fast professional installation. Painless setup and works much better than my previous provider at 1/2 the cost. Could not be more pleased. It was also great to easily communicate with a live person to get everything setup.
I cancelled my service on 4/24 due to moving out of state. I was told by the Customer Service Rep that I would receive a return label within 48 business hours; well here we are today 5/15 & no return label! I've made numerous phone calls to Customer Service with absolutely no help. It's 2025 there's no way a UPS return label should take almost a month to generate! To top it off I asked Cust Svc what the address is for return equipment I will pay for it myself only to be told Cust Svc doesn't have or know the address. If I am charged I will literally file a small claims case that is how frustrated I am!
I canceled my internet service with ClearFever over two weeks ago, and I was told they would mail me a return label for the router. Not email--postal mail. They claim it was sent on the 24th, but I never received anything. I asked if they could send it by email instead, and they flat-out said they couldn't. It's honestly shocking that in the 21st century, they refuse to send a simple return label by email. It feels like they are deliberately making the cancellation process as difficult and inconvenient as possible. I'm beyond frustrated, and I'm seriously considering leaving a very negative review. The return process is unnecessarily complicated, customer service has been completely unhelpful, and I would never recommend this company to anyone. This needs to be resolved immediately. 1 month later.. Unethical Practices Will Cost You Your Customers To Whom It May Concern, While I appreciate that the $300 charge is finally being removed, I must express how deeply frustrating and concerning this entire experience has been. What makes this even worse is that this is not the first time I've gone through something like this. I had a nearly identical issue with another internet company last year -- they also tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for equipment I had already returned, simply because I didn't have proof. That experience taught me to keep every receipt and document, and thankfully I did the same this time. But I shouldn't have to operate in constant fear of being unfairly charged. These kinds of practices -- automatically charging customers unless they can prove innocence -- are exploitative and dishonest. You're shifting the burden onto the customer even when you've already received your property back. This is not how trustworthy businesses operate. Experiences like this erode customer trust. If you treat your customers like they're naive and won't fight back, they will walk away. We are not fools. You should charge only for the services you actually provide, not attempt to profit from confusion, fear, or lack of paperwork. I hope you seriously reconsider your approach. Respecting customers is not optional -- it's the foundation of any business that hopes to keep them. Sincerely, Yoonhee Shin
I had Clearwave Fiber for two years with no problems. Last month the service went out three times in four days. They came out and fixed it twice but within 24 hours I lost service again. The last time it went out I was told it would be four days before a technician could come out and try and repair it again. This was not an option since I work from home. I ended up going back to Comcast the next day. In the meantime Clearwave took out another payment because I was on autopay. I also had to call three times to get a shipping label to return the equipment.
Easy to sign up, people came when they were supposed to, professional, and they buried the wire in my yard the very next day. Service has been steadily reliable with only a couple hiccups that didn't last long. Thank you.
I'm disgusted with this internet service. We loose connectivity at least 2 times a month. Worst decision I've ever made to switch. Every time we loose service, they blame it on construction "cutting the cable". If they know that, why does it take 4 - 8 hours to fix? I'll be looking into a different service. Here is the standard text about 4-5 hours after service interruption: Valued Clearwave Fiber Customer, Our crews are working to restore your service. The disruption is due to a cut on our Fiber network by a construction crew working in the area. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated time to repair. We will continue to provide updates via email and text to impacted customers and on clearwavefiber.com/networkstatus. Again, we apologize for the disruption and thank you for your patience. Clearwave Fiber Team
I currently have the 1GB package and every test I run averages no higher than 80mbps. I have called, and have sent multiple support requests and have never received an answer or call back as to why my service does not reflect what I am paying for. I have had clearwave since they came to the neighborhood in 2023 and as of right now they never came to bury the line. I have limited service options in Valdosta so I cannot just disconnect but if you have other options, stay away from this company as their service is awful and their customer service is nonexistent. I have still not heard back from anyone since my first few attempts over 3 weeks ago.
Tyler Smith was absolutely amazing with explaining all of the plans as well as how install works. After a week of comparing the speeds between Xfinity and Clearwave for a week we decided to cancel our services with Xfinity. Way to go Clearwave! Also our install technician Chris Fogarty was great, very knowledgeable.
