Google Fiber Webpass

Ivan from Google fiber was amazing! He was in the area early and asked if we wanted an earlier appointment time, and was very knowledgeable about how to set the whole system up. From deciding on this ISP to getting internet took less than 12 hours.

I highly recommend GFiber to anyone looking for internet service. They are an actual person when you need to chat and not AI generated. They are very responsive and for me the service is perfect because Chicago is my secondary residence and they allow you to pause service when not in town. It is super easy to unpause and you are only charged when actively using the internet. Highly recommend. I have dealt internet providers for many many years and never have I had one this good.

I was forced into using your service because my building requires it. It's only been in service for a couple of months and it is utter rubbish.Tons of intermittent buffering and disconnecting from Goggle WiFi Pro mesh set up BY YOU. ITS YOUR EQUIPMENT. CS is torturous. I finally had to give up. Disgusting. Thankfully we only have to tolerate this for one year until we can drop Google Fiber as we have a clause in our bulk contract. There are at least 300 units in my condo building and I know many complaining about the VERY SLOW AND UNRELIABLE WIFI.

Google installed our service incorrectly and has skipped out on scheduled follow up service appointment dates without communicating that they rescheduled from the expected timeframe. Based on the current service which drops intermittently while working from home, I cannot recommend fiber.

Service was great. Easy and fast setup.

I have had issues involving data transfer between two computers on my home network (not uploading or downloading). None of the Google support people are able to grasp the fact that there are functions beyond uploading and downloading. It is like talking to a robot. I got no resolution. The only way to move forward is to claim that the issue is uploading and downloading speed. I expected more from Google

Google Fiber Webpass is great. No data caps, no restrictions on outbound ports and consistently fast performance both upstream and downstream. Definitely recommend it if it's available where you are.
