We have been able to thrive in their shared kitchen space, and grow faster than we ever could have imagined in such a short period of time . Thanks to their support and guidance we have been apart of many community based programs that have aided in our growth. We would recommend The Hatchery to any local business looking for a space to grow their food business. Within The Hatchery you get a space to grow and a community to back you up. You will meet some amazing people under their roof that will become great mentors and friends.

Hello, I just wanted to take a moment to share my excitement about the Hatch Made Meals program! It's been such a fantastic opportunity for small business owners like myself. Not only does it help us financially, but it also fosters amazing relationships within our community. We hosted our holiday party at the Hatchery and it was amazing from top to bottom. Cajun Cafe provided fantastic food and Quintin at the Hatchery was so helpful every step of the way. We hope to come back next year and so grateful to keep the business on the West Side at a mission-aligned venue.

We hosted an event at The Hatchery with 70 people, focusing on food systems transformation in the Midwest. It was a perfect venue with great catering, and the Hatchery team was a dream to work with. We'll be back!

Held a tasting event here for my food business here last Saturday that went brilliantly! All my guests were floored by how cool the Hatchery's event spaces are. Modern, bright, squeaky clean and spacious! I booked the large conference room which can comfortably seat up to 25 people and there was still plenty of space for people to move around and sample all the food. They have quite a few other spaces as well. The Events team is such a pleasure to work with here. Our Events Coordinator, Quintin was a rockstar! He answered all our questions, helped us setup, welcomed all our guests and was super communicative and transparent throughout the process. I still can't believe how stress-free hosting the event really was so huge shout to him for making this possible. I will definitely be hosting more business events here and highly recommend the Hatchery for anyone else looking for an event space that wows people.

This place is an absolute nightmare for anyone just trying to start a business. Their processes are a mess--confusing, unnecessary, and completely out of touch with reality. Even if you show up with every single document they ask for, they can still reject you, like they did with me, using my business plan as an excuse. Really? I'm just trying to start a food truck! All I needed was a shared kitchen agreement, not a million-dollar loan. And if the goal was to upsell me on some overpriced course or service, why not just be upfront about it? Instead, they wasted two months of my time, drained my wallet with bills, and completely wrecked my patience and nerves. Time is priceless, and I'll never get those two months back. This place is a perfect example of what happens when bad management meets zero respect for their clients.

As a new entrepreneur launching a food business, The Hatchery has been an invaluable resource! I participated in a recent cohort of the Sprouts Incubator program and gained so much business, operational and marketing insight from their programming. The Hatchery also provides wonderful opportunities to meet and network with other entrepreneurs. It's a wonderful journey and I couldn't recommend The Hatchery more!

Sorghum Symphony started out at the Hatchery during the pandemic. The amazing team has held our hand at every step of our journey and continue to be our village. Besides the facility to make product, the Hatchery also provides classes, one-on-one coaching, networking and sampling opportunities, access to trade shows, recommendations to trade partners like packaging designers, lawyers, etc. I definitely recommend the Hatchery to any food entrepreneur who is starting out!
