I was traveling and accidentally dropped my laptop. The charging port was damaged. I called a friend, and he recommended Stefan at ComputerLand in Glenview. I brought my laptop in for repair the next morning. Stefan was super friendly, quick to diagnose the problem, and got everything fixed faster than I expected. They kept me updated throughout the process and repaired it at a reasonable price on the same day. My laptop is now running perfectly. I recently took my hard drive in for data retrieval. The owner was open and honest about the repair. He is easy to work with and you can tell he cares about his customers and their situation. I accidentally spilled water on my MacBook Pro, and it completely stopped working. The keyboard was unresponsive, the trackpad wasn't functioning, and the fans were running at full speed. I was devastated - it was barely a year old! When I took it to Apple, they told me it had to be sent to the factory for repairs and quoted me at least $1,100 - possibly more. That's practically the cost of a new laptop. Thankfully, I decided to try a local repair shop, and it turned out to be the best decision I could've made! They charged me around $400, which covered a full diagnostic and all necessary part replacements. Everything works perfectly now. What a relief - and what a bargain! I'm beyond happy with the results, and my wallet is too. I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know. Thank you again!

This guy is beyond good. If you have any problem at all with your computer and you don't take it to this ComputerLand, you've made a big mistake. Pricing is beyond fair, service is great quality couldn't be better. Plus, he could not be a nicer guy. i'm a dinosaur when it comes to computers. A guy like this could really take advantage of me. Absolutely not the case. What a jewel in the middle of Glenview.

Tried to support local. My 2yr old laptop screen was cracked. It was a touch screen. When I picked it io a few days later, I learned it was replaced with a non-touch screen. Ok, fine. But then the laptop no longer held a charge, and the caps lock light was constantly on. The guy was unable to explain or fix it. Going elsewhere and unfortunately going to pay again to have it fixed properly.

Stefan was great; took laptop to Geek Quad and they said I needed new laptop. Stefan was able to figure out issue and repair plus installed Microsoft 11 on the laptop. Would definitely recommend Stefan!!

Stefan was extremely helpful. My computer needed a new mother board and he was able to order one and install it. I think his fees are reasonable and the turn around time was only a few days. In addition, I had a problem with my software and he gave me some of his time and fixed the problem in only minutes. I find him to be quite helpful and respectful of older people who don't understand technology well at all. I will use his services again for sure. Susan

Had the hinge on my dell laptop break so the screen wouldnt stay up. Thought the computer was garbage but they fixed it for me in two days. Fantastic job.
