I have worked with Julie on many projects over the years and her knowledge of social media, marketing and web design continues to amaze me. She continues to educate herself learning from the best in the business in order to provide the very best to her customers. Julie is amazing and extremely helpful in the area of marketing. I recently moved to Hawthorn Woods and needed help creating a local presence with my coaching practice. Julie helped me to create a plan to do just that. I loved that she was willing to roll up her sleeves and give me specific feedback on my blog writing. She taught me techniques to get noticed and use social media effectively. She is an absolute delight, and very encouraging. Julie goes above and beyond with her Creative Alliance service. Her designs are creative and eye-catching. Her social media knowledge is very broad. She not only wants to provide the service that meets your exact needs but wants you to understand to the degree you want to take part and be involved. She has wonderful teaching skills that make these difficult and ever-changing topics easy to understand. Julie is extremely talented across all platforms she specializes in. As a higher end user of technology and social media I was skeptical of what I might be able to learn from Julie Smith's social media classes. I was pleasantly surprised to learn several new features and strategies of which I wasn't already aware. Julie is extremely knowledgeable and her teaching style is very step-by-step (which is great for newbies) and her documentation thorough. I highly recommend classes from Creative Alliance Design and Julie Smith!

Julie created and taught a Facebook Boot Camp for Business Women Connected. She was awesome! She brought several professional business owners through an in-depth process of creating and producing an effective business profile. Julie not only knows and understands marketing and graphic design but is also very creative and concise.

Unfortunately, Julie has failed our company with her unfulfilled promises, substandard work and lack of professionalism. On August 9, 2021, she quoted work on our website project, estimating 2 weeks for work to be done. After 2.5 months, she arrived to our office to review the site and give her notes if anything needed to be fixed. It turned out that everything needed to be fixed. From typos, to missing pictures, missing products, products in wrong categories to videos uploaded to wrong products, sometimes duplicate videos under the same product, etc. We started fixing problems ourselves while asking her to help with certain steps and/or finish certain steps she started. After weeks of silence, we had received an email that she didn't like tone of our emails, that we devalued her work and that we owed her $XX and that she was taking the site down. We paid a full year hosting fee in September per her instructions. We did follow up with several emails asking her to at least remove videos she wrongly uploaded. She has been ignoring all requests for fixing her mistakes so far. Extremely disappointed and shocked by her lack of professionalism and commitment to work she promised to do, let alone her position to take down the site we have paid for to host but have not been able to use so far.
