Kent Smith has been a great technical addition to the Intel Retiree Organization's website support team. As a volunteer, Kent joined my team in early 2017 and began contributing immediately. He analyzed the security of the website and made recommendations, which he implemented, to correct the issues. He also analyzed our server host company and made several changes to help with security. Our server company did not do complete backups so Kent started using software that he has used for his clients. When our library files became too large to do a complete backup, Kent found a software plugin for our website that will optimize the size of the files. This happens automatically when we add a new file to the library. Whenever I have emailed Kent with a problem with the website, he has responded very quickly and works to solve the issue. He is reliable and clearly communicates what the problem was and how he fixed it. I am very happy with Kent's support and grateful that he has a lot of experience working with and creating websites.
