Beware of agencies like this that can talk your ear off about all the strategies they'll use to help you rank locally. It's evident hearing them talk for a few minutes that they have a very dated approach. If you're an upstart company in the area, don't trust their advice - you'll end up paying for minimal results. In a world where you need a balanced approach to truly succeed in digital and local marketing, don't put all of your eggs in the basket of an SEO agency. The prices they have for their "packages" are ridiculous - overpromising results for thousands of dollars. Edit: I was mistaken about their pricing. Despite that, it doesn't take a contract to see that the old-hat principles of writing "landing pages that aren't linked to your main website" is out of touch with the current search landscape. As I stated above, business owners deserve an agency that will tell them the clear limitations of local SEO and point them in the direction of integrating their efforts with other marketing channels. Having worked in the field for over 8 years across several industries, I was surprised at the nature of the conversation happening a table over from me.
