I was pleasantly surprised on the one hand, and disappointed on the other hand... This was our first time walking into Nickel World. We thought it would be fun to celebrate our "double nickel" birthdays here! I was a little afraid it would be dirty and neglected looking, but I found the floors clean and the atmosphere cheerful. A few things to note... 1. Hours are limited, so check their website or call before you go. 2. The cover charge drops to $2 each if you have 3 or more people. 3. Most games take more than 2 nickels. You can buy nickels (or bring your own). 4. The video games along the back wall are free to play. There are all sorts of games, but the downside is that about 20% have an " out of order" sign. I'm hoping that they have someone who can fix them, and they are just not giving floor space to unusable games.

Tons of fun for the whole family and very cheap, with a $2.25 admission that will include free games to play other games require nickels. Don't have your own nickels they sell rolls. Along with great nostalgic games to choose from you also get the great nostalgia feeling of physical tickets! My photos include some of my favorite games! Cheap for a reason. Tons of stuff here is broken, out of order, or out of tickets.

Family of 5 here, everyone had fun. Spent about two hours playing games, most of which you earn tickets for prizes. Very nice staff and attentive to machines. Most machines take 1-4 nickels. Will come back soon.

Great place to take the kids when it's a cold, rainy or snowy day. Old school games for the kids to play and stay out of trouble. Great staff and just a fun atmosphere.

It is great! We had our daughters 8th birthday here in 1990 and now our granddaughters birthday!

Lots of fun games! A small entry fee, and most games are from 1 to 4 nickels. A few of the games don't work sometimes, but everthing's so affordable you can't really complain. The owner is friendly and responsive.

Still a very low entry fee (~$2.50) and machine costs (2-3 nickels mostly). A decent variety of arcade games covering the last 50 years or so. A fair amount of machines are out of order (perhaps to never be restored) or in disrepair, but still plenty of options. It's literally hit and miss whether your light-gun arcade game will have an accurately calibrated firearm, but when it does, the nostalgia wave is worth the wait. They still use physical tickets, the machines are fairly clear about their payout, and there are automatic ticket counters for when you're done. The prize pool leaves a lot to be desired, but is competitively priced. The most expensive thing you may see is a giant, stuffed banana (10,000 tickets) or other fair-like schwag. No PS6s or Super Pokeman 2 here, but given the extremely low cost of entry it may make business sense to not hold expensive merchandise. Pros: Party room is fairly priced. They seem to have endless rolls of nickels for sale. Best $/hr entertainment around Cons: Broken machines. Weak prizes.
