Customer Reviews & Testimonials

For the first three months of this year we had service that would drop three to four times a day. They had to send techs out multiple times to try and fix the problem. I talked with customer service over and over again. I finally had to sign up with a 5g cellular internet provider to get reliable service that Astound could not provide. Astound customer service was even aware that I had to do this and really did not care at all. Was I offered any sort of credit for three months of totally unacceptable and unreliable service to my business-Not a single thing. You think they could have offered a little credit to at least cover my back up why they couldn't provide reliable service, but nope. I would never ever recommend them to anyone.

Had WOW for about 4 years with no issues, now my Internet is going down multiple times a month and it is near impossible to get someone on the phone to even try and cancel. These people are straight scamming people. EDIT - I cancelled my account and the reps will lie to you. You cannot have your services prorated like most services out there and they make no effort in assisting with getting their modem back. Cancel as quickly as you can before they steal more of your money.

Trash tech support only solution is to reset connection and then do a service call. This would be fine if the installers were actually competent on service calls. Had to login to modem and router and reconfigure everything myself with the help of google. Everything is fine now thanks to hours of troubleshooting by myself.

I wanted to reach out regarding the terrible customer service we received. We recently switched over to you all from a different provider to set up services. We called and spoke with someone who confirmed we were set up correctly. Today, our other service stopped and we were on astound completely. Our internet is not working and when we called in for assistance they mentioned no one can be out here for 24 hours. My issue with this is that we had called ahead of time to set up an appointment where the astound representative stated one would not be needed. Now we have no internet in our home. We have a 2 year old toddler and 2 week old baby. We cannot access our baby monitor and our heat is off becuase it is connected to the internet. This is a life safety concern and we had done everything to make sure this was set up ahead of time through you all. Now that it is not working and after speaking with a manager on the phone she stated there is nothing that can be done. This is unacceptable and you are putting children in danger.

Stay away they are more concerned about getting new customers then retaining old customers. They charge existing customers double to triple what new customers pay. So, I will go and be a new customer elsewhere. Edit: Emailed the address stated on the review response and their response was to talk to customer service why even make me email them in the first place if they can't help I don't understand.

Have had a problem with poor internet connection for a week. Started calling last Thursday (it's now Wednesday of the following week, March 20, 2024). I keep on getting people in the tech support area who tell me, it's my modem. And then try to get me to agree to rent one from them as though this will be the magic wand solution. Called Last Thursday, last Friday, and last Saturday asking for someone to look into the problem, insisting there must have been an outage in the area. The person on the phone with me insisted this simply could not be the case. Then, suddenly, while we were talking, she told me, "oh, you have an outage in your area." Scheduled someone to come out the following Tuesday. The tech came, but never spoke to me. Just reported no one here at the office and the service call was cancelled. Was told the same thing about the service outage yesterday and had the personnel respond telling me there was no outage.... Then, suddenly, "oh, there is a service outage in your location." Service dropped completely in the afternoon while in a call with a client. Then on the phone for a couple of hours trying to get someone to address the problem. The tech that came yesterday said he was unable to find me. The registered address for my service is in Suite 104H. This is where I was when i initially started with this company. I've since moved to Suite 104B. (See picture). I can understand the confusion. These two doors are almost 2 feet apart and the fact that my name appears on the sign of my office may require someone to read. Apparently these are far too much to expect of someone who claims to be a "technician." Why do I have to make repeated calls to get someone's attention. And now, I'm at my office waiting for another technician to come. Had to be here by 8:00am today. I feel like I've been forced to take on a position as a contracted employee with this company in order to get the service I actually pay for each month. I've made it clear.... If they are not able to restore the service by 10:00am this morning, they are fired. I will go with their competitor. It doesn't matter how good you claim your service to be if you don't have the ability to provide it.

Had 4 phenomenal years of service. 1000x better than xfinity. But tried to cancel the account today 2/25 since I'm moving and they are charging me for the entire month of March even though I won't be living there. Crook behavior. I don't care that pro rating isn't part of their policy but not even xfinity does this.

Ever since they bought WOW our internet service has been HORRIBLE!!! Internet goes out all the time, at least once a month for several hours making work and schoolwork impossible. My kids teachers oy believe internet issues so many times... I had to show them screenshot of the outages because it was happening so often. We will be switching providers ASAP.
