Excellent service as I have learned over the years is the norm at Blacknight. Irish web builders are so lucky to have you. When everything on the Internet is getting more and more impersonal, Blacknight maintain a really good commitment to one to one, considerate, effective service. Bravo guys, ye are always there when needed.

I tried to become a customer. Sales was Incompetent. Pre-sales Tech Support was embarrassing. Unprofessional. Blacknight problems are Blacknight issues, not a failure of the Internet. Very disappointing! I asked for a call from MD, but he's too busy.. I want Guaranteed Irish, but i won't take guaranteed headaches. we'll need to join our dots, or there's no business going their way

Have been with blacknight as a hosting and domain provider for donkeys, their service is top-notch and I have never had any major downtime issues (that weren't my fault)

The absolute worst hosting company I have ever inter acted with. It's so bad I had to leave a review. Trying to install a sub domain is a mission and support is extremely slow. You have to call them and it's like calling a bank. Then an SSL needs to be bought for the sub domain, which is daylight robbery then you have to try and install it yourself. There's 2 dashboards, one old v one new, not sure what that is even about. Typical reply from a company that doesn't listen. It took 3 days to setup a sub domain fully and you charge extra for an SSL - robbery , you have one of the most complicated back end dashboards I have ever used, when I had to call you it was like calling a bank - if support was so good then why did I have to call you and why did you have to call the account owner for setting up something as simple as a sub domain? If you want a good hosting company then check out WPX and then compare yours and you'll see the difference to one that is very easy to use and has super fast support.

By far the worst hosting company I have ever used. They think people are tech wizards and their back end system is like something from 90's. Trying to set up a sub domain has taken days, they charge extra for an SSL on a subdomain, support is as slow as a wet week. Not sure why they make things so complicated.

A great helpful company with attentive customer service personnel. They will answer all questions for you in good time. It's very good to know you're dealing with a company in Ireland and to hear an Irish voice on the other end of the phone if you need any help. We haven't had any negative experiences with them so far hosting multiple websites for a decade or more.

Very poor website speed which is crucial for Google ranking. Left without email for 2 days as they updated server with no backup. My fault apparently for not reading their emails which were in the spam folder. If you aren't up to speed on updating DNS and MX records then stay well clear.
