Our experience with Squareroot Solutions, which we later discovered to be a front for Impero IT in India, was disastrous. Initially, we were impressed by Ciaran's honesty and transparency. However, we soon encountered significant challenges. Impero IT's practice of subcontracting to multiple clients created conflicts and delays. They used 0 processes to reach deadlines. They have an incompetent 'project manager' who does nothing but show up on calls. Furthermore, their insistence on full payment before IP transfer proved to be a major mistake. This left us vulnerable when the delivered code was of extremely poor quality - disorganized, inefficient ("spaghetti code"), and far below the promised standard. Communication with the development team was severely hindered. We experienced constant missed deadlines and ultimately had to significantly rework the entire project, incurring substantial additional costs and delays. This experience has been incredibly damaging, impacting our timeline, budget, and relationships with potential clients. I strongly advise other founders to exercise extreme caution when considering outsourcing to Impero IT.
