Terri Events

We paid a deposit for Terri's full wedding planning service. We received poor communication and a lot of attitude, especially when we had suggested using other reputable vendors that was not on her list. She made the entire experience unpleasant and we dreaded having meetings with her because of her poor energy and mean disposition. Luckily, we ended up terminating our contract with her and using a different wedding planner with the exact same vendors that she didn't want us to use. Although we lost our deposit, terminating our contract with Terri was the best decision made because we ended up have an amazing, unforgettable wedding with the new planner.

When Andre and I first started to plan our wedding, we thought of doing the decor ourselves, however in giving it much thought we knew that to stay within our budget with beautiful decor "we definitely needed a professional" to help make our dreams come true or should I say "my dream come true." In my very first conversation with Terri I knew we would look 'NO' further. She was pleasant and confident, right off the bat you could tell she knew her stuff. She was patient in asking me if we knew what we wanted and very responsive with different decor ideas, she was willing to work with our budget inasmuch as we weren't sure what our budget was she never got frustrated. (always know your budget guys, it makes things a whole lot easier). Terri was very instrumental in us having the wedding we desired...the back and forth, oh and there was much back and forth with me changing my mind ever so often. I thought by now she must think I am crazy or even be annoyed...at one point I was annoyed with myself but Terri remained professional, patient and responsive. She was supportive and very encouraging when she needed to be. Reassuring us that everything would turn out great. Which it did!!!!! Terri you never disappointed us, Andre and I were blown away with the work that you and your team did with decorating our wedding...the church as well as the reception venue. The care, thought and attention to detail was very evident in every aspect. We will be eternally thankful to both you and your team for the phenomenal work you guys put into pulling off our dream wedding.

Planning a destination wedding during the pandemic was a season of stress and uncertainty mingled with joy and we were so happy to have Terri as a guide and resource along the way. She was communicative, flexible and a pleasure to work with before, during and after our wedding. I can truly say that my wedding was everything that I dreamed of and that is in large part to Terri's dedication and execution. We had some hurdles along the way but Terri was always there with sage advice and solutions to get us to the end goal which was an unforgettable showcase of love. We would recommend her to anyone planning an event.

Working with Terri was a pleasure. If you have an idea in mind she will execute it perfectly. She has checklists, timeline checks, and frequent meetings to keep wedding planning on track. She was able to help me plan my destination wedding perfectly and this was all done virtually. What was most helpful was how she was able to act as a liaison for wedding vendors. My stress level was significantly lowered because of her and her team. Spend the money for planning and decor! It is worth it! It will save time and also prevent you from being stressed on your big day!

Terri Events was an invaluable asset both during the planning of my daughter's wedding, as well as the execution on the Big Day. They were professional, communicative and great to work with. And most importantly, Terri Events was a tremendous asset in executing exactly what we wanted for this wedding . . . from managing nine vendors prior to and during the wedding, to making decisions in my absence based on the overall vision and direction that we created together. Terri Events is everything I didn't know I needed in a wedding planner. I decided to go with a planner because I was planning a wedding in Kingston but lived overseas. I cannot praise her enough. I had no clue what I wanted in a wedding other than that I wanted something thar represented our personalities as a couple. I didn't grow up fantasizing about dresses and color schemes and felt like a fish out of water at times. Terri was patient, gave me ideas/suggestions that I could then critique because, like many people I am better at knowing what I don't want. LOL. She gave me a comprehensive time line with tasks and deadlines, which was extremely helpful. She pushed me to get on Pinterest and show her images that spoke to me, which helped crystallize my theme. She took charge of communication with all vendors, which was invaluable, dealing with the back and forth of quotes, nonresponsiveness etc which saved my blood pressure and hair. Terri was diplomatic, efficient, communicative, goal oriented and also, most importantly, a nice human being. She went above and beyond to ensure David and I were happy. I would highly recommend her for any event that you want to be a special occasion.

We absolutely loved working with Terri! She was supremely helpful and professional. All her work, from vendor management to the bouquets and boutonniers she provided, was excellent and seemless. It was easy to rest at peace that things would turn out well after seeing her positive attitude and attention to detail. From Terri we got premium service! This greatly contributed to our wedding day being very special despite Covid-19 and other challenges. Her team was great too, very helpful and willing to assist above and beyond. Big up Jon!
