Grand Bayou Noir

Our recent stay at Grand Bayou Noir exceeded our expectations! Beautiful house full of rich southern history coupled with owners who go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable. We stayed the night in the private 2nd floor suite. Ample space, comfortable bedding, great private balcony views!! To top it off, the breakfast is made to order...10 out of 10!!! It made the trip well worth it.

Had a wedding there October 14th, 2023 and it was perfect. The grounds are very beautiful and well kept. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. It genuinely was a perfect evening for me and my wife.

Fantastic first time in the US. It's been a pleasure to be introduced to Louisiana in Grand Bayou Noir. All from the bed, to house itself and the outstanding breakfasts.||Even tough short, my stay in Grand Bayou Noir was a real trip.

Grand Bayou Noir is an amazing bed and breakfast and exemplifies Southern hospitality. Our room was clean and luxurious, the house and gardens were incredible to experience, breakfast was delicious, and the free beers and good conversation made our stay unique and memorable! A perfect end to our trip.

We have held our business (gym) Christmas party here for the last 3 years, and we love it! The house and oak trees in the front and back of the property are beautiful, and the the pirogue (small, Cajun canoe) full of drinks, the fires burning and amply sized rooms all add to the ambiance of Southern comfort. I look forward to next year already, and highly recommend this venue for those who want a party venue that is charming, accommodating and intimate.

Helluva bed & breakfast in little Houma, the capital of Bayou country. Top notch room and classy breakfast in a fun little town that has a few quality restaurants (try 1921 for oysters and crawfish), places to drink and listen to Swamp Pop (try Jack's), and swamp boat tours easily accessible. Tim's place is a gorgeous property close to Main Street with big oaks and many fruit trees (oranges, grapefruit, lemons), and he and his colleague Chris make you feel welcome right off the bat. We loved this place and, even though it was a bit of a splurge for us, we thought it was strong value for money. Stay here and you will be lucky to experience a less visited but totally awesome part of Louisiana.

I recently organized a class reunion at Grand Bayou Noir. The space was absolutely perfect! When we arrived the outdoor tent was already decorated with beautiful draping, string lights, tables, white wooden chairs and linens which made for a beautiful venue even before we added our own decorations. The food during the event was AMAZING! Everything was served right on time and was replenished throughout the night. Judge Ellender, Mrs. Debbie and their staff made hosting an event with them completely stress free. I would recommend them to anyone!

I stayed in the big room that is separated from the main house. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was big and comfy. The hot tub on the balcony is just right. The grounds are picture perfect. There are free beverages available in a cooler outside. The breakfast in the main house was delicious and just right. I would pay to just come for breakfast. |I loved my stay so much that I plan to come back twice a year.
