Sync with Connex (JMA Web Technologies)

I've been working with Joe Anderson from Connex Ecommerce for over a year. Joe is a dedicated entrepreneur who truly cares about the local business community. His solution provides an invaluable bridge between various ecommerce systems that typically don't communicate with each other. Connex effectively solves real problems for online retailers by connecting systems that otherwise wouldn't integrate. Joe's commitment to helping businesses succeed makes him an outstanding partner and his company an amazing connector for the business community.

I am updating a previously negative review. After much frustration and a charge dispute, I was was contacted by phone by Connex. They apologized for any inconvenience and the difficulty I had over a charge for services that were not received. They took care of the matter promptly and called to let me know. They also said that they would make cancellation of services easier in the future, and for that I commend them. In short, they addressed my complaint promptly and did the right thing. In an age of con artists, it is nice to know that some companies will go the extra mile to resolve a problem, when they could have just drug their feet and let the clock run out. Kudos!

Have been a customer since 2019. Price went up from $69 to $479 for the same functionality and number of orders. Email that was initiated by Connex during the last price increase has indicated that we will stay on the legacy plan, then without any advanced warning we were charged a new rate (from $239 to $479). Instead of readily admitting that they were wrong it took a week of back and forth to get the rate back to what it was supposed to be. There was always an issue with the connections breaking down and no email notifications. Attempts to resolve the issues were met with canned replies ... you must upgrade to another plan level to have us troubleshoot otherwise read the help file. Well, help files will not magically fix the issues that were presented by poor QA on Connex side. In the past 2 months good number of direct integrations were dropped, notably ebay. The integrations look good on paper but with no tech support when Connex breaks down the code on their end and indifferent customer support I would strongly advise against implementing this as a solution.

Horrible company to do business with. To start, I paid up front for an annual plan, less than six months into the plan, they changed it to a monthly plan and nearly tripled the price. The software is buggy, recently had a huge outage, and they turned off support because they were "getting too many inquiries". Prior to the outage support was non-existent anyway, so don't expect to hear back from anybody if you have an issue. Great example of how not to run a business (not if you want customers anyway). I would recommended evaluating every possible solution before even considering Connex.

Zero star review. There is a reason why so many people on Google reviews are leaving horrible reviews for this company- I hope people read these before they purchase this product. After a 448% price increase in September of 2021, we canceled our service, and uninstalled the application from our website. Since that time, Connex has continued to bill us at this massively inflated rate. Since they do not have a working phone number, and do not return emails or web form inquiries, we are stuck paying this bill for a service we dont use. This has now cost us thousands of dollars, for a product that we dont use. Does the product work? It did, back in 2021 when we used it, but I cant tell you if the current version works, because we havent used it in a few years. Connex- please do the right thing and return the money you have stolen from my company.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. You will speak with a person only two (2) times: Once at the sales presentation and then again for your 30 minute training session. After that, you are on your own. You can create "help" tickets which are answered "as soon as they can", but they will not answer the phone or call you to help with technical issues. I paid them for two years and then left for Webgility. In fact, they canceled my subscription when I left negative review on their Youtube videos. Do NOT waste your time with this joke of a company. I promise you it will be the worst customer service experience of your life. We are now using Webgility and they DO answer the phone and provide technical support via telephone and screenshare to help with set-up and subsequent training as you learn to use the software. Connex does not understand this concept and of course, they never make a mistake. Save your time and money by using anyone else but Connex. They stink!

Connex has been one of the only pieces of software I could find to bridge my systems all together and it does it really well. Customer support is always quick with troubleshooting and problems get solved fast so I'm back to making sales. Highly recommend for any company trying to make Quickbooks Point of Sale talk to other systems.

We have been using Connex for a few years. The software works really well syncing QuickbBooks with Ship Station. The staff was extremely helpful with the initial set up. We plan on taking this to the next level and import more information to lessen the manual input of the info on our invoices.
