Joshua was an amazing host. It was our first time so he explained each floor and what to do If we wanted food. Gwen was a lovely waitress and very attentive. Every floor was beautiful and well designed. I found the Deviled Eggs delightful and the husband raved about the mushroom brie soup. Their current specialty cocktails were not our preference but the mocktails were absolutely delicious. We purchased a wide variety of books all reasonably priced. Joshua met us again and packed our books carefully and in beautiful bags. Added bonus- the soap in the bathroom smells similar to the white tea soap at the Westin ( one of my favorite fragrances) and they had luxurious hand towels and hilarious toilet paper.

Stopped in with friends after dinner for a glass of wine. The host initially did not have a table but right after we walked out they had a cancellation and caught us before we got in our car! Fantastic staff. Absolutely loved the sophisticated cozy ambiance with the built in bookshelves, fireplaces and lounge areas. The wine was perfect for the moment. Will recommend and return.

I've come four times this month alone. It's become my new "third place." It's the type of spot I daydreamed about as a kid--come to life! Charlie is the best and always goes out of his way to make it a special experience for everyone, everytime. Heads-up fellow vegans: their bisque is cannellini bean-based and DELICIOUS.

I have been traveling bookstore to bookstore dropping off my self-published book. "The Oracle Stone". To me owners and establish a relationship. But when I walked into this bookstore I felt like I was walking in to the most elegant idea of a bookstore come to life. Absolutely the most gorgeous bookstore I have ever seen. It had a bistro and a wine selection. So clean and so well decorated that it should be featured in magazine. I couldn't help myself but I had to buy a book there. The ladies working the counter with some of the sweetest nicest ladies I've ever met. This is a dream to walk in there for either dates , just casual shopping, or just a browse I could see it it's 100% worth it. I almost didn't want to touch anything it was so pretty. This wasn't just the bookstore this was an experience.

Love coming here for a relaxing afternoon with a good book and great drink! Edit 1/11/25: came back again with my husband and, honestly, it was better than I remembered. I don't know what personality test you put your employees through, but they're all truly amazing people! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. I don't have enough good things to say about the people, the drinks, food, and, of course, books!

It was an amazing experience, I will definitely visit again. I would have given them five stars but they forgot to give me my credit card back and I had to drive all the way back there in the snow, I would have thought they offered me a complimentary inconvenience but they didn't. They did apologize.

The most beautiful establishment. A beautiful wine station with a genuine sommelier, amazing friendly staff, the most breathtaking display of books. Art in the bathroom.
