Customer Reviews & Testimonials
The good: the area is quiet and safe, and the room rates were reasonable (especially during graduation season). Automated check in was simple enough, and the host was responsive. The bad: the room was not the cleanest. I was never truly comfortable (especially in the bathroom) due to the general air of uncleanliness The ugly: I have no choice but to give a one star review due to the bug situation. On the first night, we found a bug in one of the beds. We asked to get the room cleaned the next day, and returned to find that only the sheets were changed, with the rest of the room being left as is. That would be fine if not for the fact that we found another bug on the same bed 3 nights later.
The room was clean and that's all it had going for it. We arrived late at night, doing our best to be quiet. Turns out that wasn't necessary as the occupants of the room next door were clearly not concerned about sleep. We could hear their bed more than we could hear them for the first half of the hour+ that they were going at it (at 1 am of all times). The covering on the door didn't sit well enough to actually provide privacy and there was no light blocking whatsoever. This place is across the street from a car dealer. It was bright as day the whole night long. The walls had corners broken off and the shower wall had been busted as well. This place maintains its reputation as "not a place you go for good intentions" frankly, and is NOT worth $100 a night. $60 would be more appropriate and I've stayed at places nicer than this for that price. When the neighbors started again at 10 am we decided to cut our losses and book elsewhere for our second night in town.
Really impressed with this hotel! Pros: Room was clean, bed was clean, the pillows even had protectors on them along with pillow cases. Bed also had a mattress protector and the mattress itself was clean. No dust at all even on the vents or ac unit. The room also smelled amazing, what ever air freshener they use keep using it! Coffee maker was clean, they also had complementary k-cups, cream, sugar, cups, and granola bars. Cable TV worked great. Water was HOT. Bed was super comfy and they even had an extra fluffy blanket to use. Cons: Water presser was kinda meh, but not a deal breaker. Walls are a little thin but luckily I didn't have super noisy neighbors. Bonus: I didn't have to speak face to face with another person to book and pay for my room! Pet friendly as well, had no problems with my two dogs.
Lynn is so easy to work with. Friendly. Easy going. Very helpful. Rooms are nice and clean and cozy. I rented rooms 7 and 8 and had no issues.
Pet Friendly Romanticized, the room was quaint & cozy. I was traveling for my personal business and I arrived early hoping to get some work done. The desk was small & not able to accommodate much more than my laptop. The internet was good. Unfortunately, for us the room was too chilly and there was no way to adjust the temperature. This caused frozen feet even though big fluffy slippers were on and the need to keep our jackets on. I had yogurt that I was able to place in the bathroom windowsill which kept it refrigeratored until morning. The bedding & towels were clean, the room & bath were moderately clean. There was an extra fluffy blanket that was available it did keep us snuggly warm through the night. This was a very quiet place until about 10:30P, when the quests in the room next to ours arrived. They were apparently night owls & we were kept awake until nearly 3A. All in all, this is a good stop for rest if needed. I won't choose to stay here again and I felt that it was a bit pricey for the accommodations offered.
So kind of a last minute thing. Great cute little room was told didn't have a fridge or microwave in the room which was ok. The single serve coffee was a good idea but no coffee maker in the room. Very quiet clean great service and just all around great. Old style vending machine. Would definitely stay again!
While this motel tries hard, you are getting what you pay for. Automated check-in with keypad door access, tiny rooms with all that you need, blinds that don't quite cover the windows (although a previous guest must have added contrasting black electrical tape to close the gap). The room was pretty clean and did the trick for a quick overnight. In a pinch I would stay again, but wouldn't go out of my way. I hope they continue the trend toward remodeling and updating. They'll get there.
For what it is, we really enjoyed ourselves. It is small and cozy and without frills, and just what we needed for a quick trip to the area. Nothing fancy, but VERY clean and a great place to sleep. The owner is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she was very hospitable in offering us extra towels and fresh coffee when needed. We would definitely stay here again.
