Hood's Do-It Best Hardware and Gifts

I returned screen window that Hoods'repaired as it had broke apart when I tried to place it in window. The corner parts were old and broke when I tried to put in the screen.The workers comment was, " You never asked for new corner parts,"..Not quite the Friendly Family business that I expected, since my friend said that they were very helpful and friendly. This time it cost me full price ..

Amazing hardware store and truly so much more. There is a gift shop, tons of electrical and plumbing items and just when I thought they didn't have an item, Josh pointed out a whole other area that had the step ladder that I needed! I stopped in last year for some miscellaneous part that they helped me with and I truly did not take the time to see all that they had to offer. I am glad that I took the time today to check them out. I will be back to do some shopping soon!

By Far the best and most helpful hardware store I have ever been in. They are way ahead of any other hardware store. Family owned and operated by the most knowledgeable, friendly and caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. John, Patty, Ed and the staff are great. Thanks for being there!

The customer service I receive at Hood's Do-It Best Hardware and Gifts every time I go there is excellent! The store owners and employees couldn't be more kind, courteous, respectful, helpful, and are always happy to find something for you if they don't have it. And what other hardware store can you find butterfly rearing supplies?? If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Please remember to be respectful to business owners during these difficult times.

They always have the best solutions to any problems I ever run into with home repairs and they are more than happy to help you find anything your looking for. The prices are better than most hardware stores and if anything does cost more than Lowes or home Depot then it's not by very much and it saves me the long wait in line and having to go deal with all the traffic. I'm glad I have that luxury so thanks for all of the help and convenience your store has given me and my family over the years.

GREAT store!!! The employees are always helpful and very knowledgeable. They have so many different items - not your typical hardware store. Patti is great to work with and if they don't have something they will see if they can order it. I love the way the store supports local initiatives like the butterfly clubs and the high school garden programs.

I only shop at Hood's if I need a hardware item or a gardening treasure. They have impeccable service. Very friendly but not overbearing. It's a truly great business that gives back to the community and also helps out by hosting pet adoption fundraisers and stuff like that. They never make you feel stupid if you don't totally know what you're talking about and will offer any assistance you might need, including carrying heavy items out to your car.
