Studio 550

In the town of Laurel, a place where the shadows stretch long as the sun sets, there's a building that doesn't quite belong. The air inside is stale, heavy with the scent of chemicals and old paper--the kind of smell that sticks to the back of your throat. Jack, the proprietor, emerges from the back, his smile a little too wide, his gaze a little too piercing. You're here for memories, he knows, the kind that can be framed and hung on a wall. But as he guides you through the process, his hands deft and sure, you can't shake the feeling that he's framing more than just your picture. There's a story in every shadow of this place, and Jack is its diligent scribe. The photos come out clear, sharp, and somehow more vivid than life itself. They're good, you have to admit, even if the experience leaves you slightly unnerved. You leave with your prints in hand, the door closing behind you with a finality that's hard to ignore. Studio 550 is a place of contradictions. It's a business that captures joy, yet the joy is tinged with an undercurrent of something darker. It's not a place you love, nor is it one you hate. It's a place that simply is, and that's enough to earn it a solid three stars. As you walk away, the image of Jack's unsettling smile lingers in your mind, a reminder that some stories are best left untold. And yet, you know you'll return, drawn back by the enigmatic allure of Studio 550, where every picture tells a story, and every story hides a secret.

First, I would like to say the venue is very beautiful. However, the customer service is very rude. Not only where I told that I received a sheet of paper for My Son, senior portraits that was not given to me, but Rebecca was very rude and disrespectful when it comes to me calling to check to see what needs to be done about submitting his senior portrait. She did not let me finish the sentence before she jumped in to tell me what My Son received when I was the one that took him he walked out before I did. . I stood in there with him while he took his pictures and I asked, is that all. Also when I called in to inquire about how to submit the picture Rebecca proceeded to tell me that it's too late it was due in September. As I was explaining she cut me off and talked to me as if I was nothing.

We went for Easter pictures for my 9 month old son. They were very professional but also kind and lighthearted. We got great photos and had a good time getting them.

Gatherings at Studio 5 Fifty is an excellent venue. I would definitely recommend the location to anyone looking for a great place to host their wedding, office party, or any other social event.

I asked them a question about my photos via email and they sent me an all caps, sarcastic, and rude email, and refused to answer my question in a way that made sense to me.

I went there to take my senior pictures, they were really nice and acted in a professional manner.

I have all of my events here. I attended the prettiest barmitzvah here last year and plan to attend another later this year.
