Candlewood Suites Cape Girardeau by IHG

We stay in a lot of hotels and this was our favorite overall. Even though there wasn't breakfast, we felt like all the other amenities made up for that. Great pool, fitness center, convenience store, game and meeting rooms. Loved the layout of the room, was more spacious. Mini kitchen was a bonus. All the staff were friendly to my family as well and very helpful. We enjoyed swimming but would request a hot tub or sauna in future! Ha. Will definitely be back to Candlewood!

I t was a nice place to stay. The room was clean. The location was great. We could get to everything from the interstate. The staff we saw in the hallways were friendly. As far as service when it came to the rooms, it was confusing. We checked in and the lady upfront didnt seem so sure about the information that was given us. There was no ice machine. Some of the amenities for guests were not working but overall. It was a nice experience.

We were blocked by snowstorm and had to take a break during our road trip. Found this hotel near highway. Nicely surprised by what they offered. Room is nice, clean and spacious. We used the kitchen to make a simple dinner. The oven top works well. I only hope there are enough utensils for a family of four. The hotel has a meeting room and I saw someone playing board games inside. It's a smart way to attract locals for a staycation. My child went to the small arcade and had some "winter fun" with a few dollars. It's cool for a snowy night. Overall it's a good for value. Will stay again at this brand.

Spent the night here in Cape Girardeau on the way back home from Winter Fun on the Gulf Shore. Very convenient to the highway and places to eat. Room was comfortable and pet friendly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was sparklingly clean and we made a point to seek out and thank the cleaning staff before we left in the morning. We would stay here again. A highly recommended property.

We stayed here on the way back home after some Winter Fun down south on the coast. We were extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the facilities. These properties are comfortable and welcoming as a general rule but this specific property went above and beyond. A definite recommendation for a stay next time we are in town.

This Candlewood Hitel was gorgeous and the wonderful staff was very accommodating along my travels to. Cape Girardeau, Mo. Nice area. Just wish they had coffee the next morning but the machine was broke down in the cupboard.

Have stayed here on numerous occasions. Staff is always friendly and a big plus is the guest laundry facilities. Stayed here when they were doing remodel and even with all the work going on they kept the hotel clean and great customer service.

My stay at this hotel - The Candlewood Suites in Cape Girardeau, was made enjoyable and pleasant because the following people really did an excellent job: Front desk: Bobbie, Bryce, Wesley, Brandi, & Kristin, always were there when I needed something and were very friendly and accommodating. The House Keeping Staff; Tricia, Sarah, Tammy, Katy, Audrey & Heather were very professional and thorough in their jobs and were also always very friendly. All of these people made my long stay away from my family more bearable because of their effort. I can't thank them enough.
