Rockwood Inn

This boutique hotel is amazing! My sister and friends hosted a birthday party here for me and several of us stayed the night and had such a fabulous time! Every detail is thought of, the beds are so comfy and the coffee and breakfast treats were the cherry on top! If you are looking for a place to stay with your family or friends in Cape G, this is it!!!

Madawn was an excellent host, the rooms were terrific, and our stay was awesome. Fabulous historic house that was meticulously clean and wonderfully renovated. Will be returning next year for another stay. The beds were very comfortable and private rooms with individual bathrooms were very comfortable and stylish.

Elegantly furnished and just about every amenity was available. The proprietor is gracious and accommodating and willing to act on any suggestion. Tje public spaces are such a bonus. Will definitely make this a regular return visit to Cape!

Amazing!! I was the first person to have their wedding reception at Rockwood Inn! It was absolutely beautiful! Madon, the owner, and her husband went above and beyond to make sure our day was so special. Madon worked so hard to set up the entire evening and I couldn't have imagined anything more perfect. Her husband put lights on the patio for our guests which was a very nice touch. We also stayed at Rockwood for the weekend. The rooms are so beautiful, each has its own flare and unique touch. The natural lighting was perfect for the makeup artist and hairdressers had plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable, robes were provided. We were treated like royalty. I highly recommend staying at Rockwood Inn and having your own special event in this BEAUTIFUL place!

If you go to Cape Girardeau, you have to stay here. I believe this is the best place we have ever stayed at. The pictures absolutely do not do this place any justice! Walking in, my husband and I were in awe! We had to look around before we went to find our room. This boutique hotel is beautifully redone. Madawn is a sweet and wonderful host! Thank you Madawn! We stayed in The Vista upstairs. The room was perfect. The beds and the chairs in the little nook area were all comfortable.

I had an exceptional stay at the Rockwood Inn! My room was very clean and thoughtfully organized, with stylish decor and comfortable furnishings that made it feel like home. The check-in process was seamless, and the overall beauty of the hotel truly stands out. I can't wait to return on my next visit--definitely a five-star experience!

I've enjoyed the Rockwood Inn both times I've stayed there and I'll be back again next time I'm in town. The rooms all have unique themes - I've tried the Palm and Cosmopolitan so far. Both are fantastic. I love this location and enjoy walking around the SEMO campus when I stay at Rockwood.

Stayed at The Rockwood on a girls' trip to do some downtown shopping and dinner. This is a beautifully restored and decorated boutique hotel. The host was exceptionally attentive and accommodating. I would give the stay 10 stars if that were possible! Can't wait to return.
