If I could give a negative star I would. I was promised a 2week turn around on all my projects and it has been nothing but a nightmare. The 2 projects I had them work on took way longer and were incomplete in every way. Site addresses were incorrect, scales were wrong, details were missed and competency is just not there. Disappointed ,frustrated, and costly considering I had to hire someone else to complete site plans.

DOTec did the final design and engineer stamped drawings for my shipping container house. Based on my interface with them they were responsive to my needs and did a good. I have recommended DOTec to others, and will use them again should the need arise. I've attached a few photos of the finished product:

I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone. I only used them because they were referred to me by my architect. After over 7 months waiting for them to complete my scope of work, I demanded a return of my deposit after the city even stated that they did not feel they were capable of completing the work. The city repeatedly kept sending them a checklist of items needed, to which they would do one or two and send it back. This continued for several more months before I switched companies, thus losing money in the process. The new company started completely from scratch. I was told by my new engineer that this is a frequent occurrence as they have retained several jobs from this company recently for similar issues. I am still waiting for my deposit to be returned. I would advise using someone else.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS FIRM. DOTEC puts every project they handle at serious risk by cutting corners and misrepresenting their capabilities. If you value integrity and quality, stay far away from this firm. They falsely claim to have licensing in all 50 states, but that's far from the truth. Instead of having a fully qualified, in-house team, they outsource their work to other engineers and pay them to seal projects in states where they don't have the required licenses. This practice is not only deceptive but highly unethical and puts not only the projects at risk but also your company's name and integrity.

The last engineering firm you should ever trust to do work with. One of my project managers gave this firm a chance and now one of my companies projects failed due to this firm's inabilities and had to be completely reengineered by a completely different firm. I'll keep it simple to why. To start, this firm is beyond phony, it does not have a bunch of engineers in house or licensing in all states like they sell themselves as, everything is outsourced to a team of engineers in another country in order to minimize overhead and maximize profits. Looking to experience low quality engineering and project deadlines constantly pushed back because they can't deliver on time? You've found the right place to do business.

Horrible company. Don't believe anything they tell you. Hired them to do an Luminare electrical inspection. The DOTec inspector came to the site and stood around looking in the mirror combing his hair. He never inspected the outlets and told the wireman that the wiring passed the inspection. When he wrote up the paperwork, He failed the inspection so the company could get more money. Stay far away from this company as possible. They are unethical and dishonest. You will get ripped off. Went to the parking lot because my son's bus stop is at the corner of your parking lot. And as I went to go turn around to be able to make it into the proper entrance due to their being a do not enter sign on the other end of the parking lot, I have to back up a little bit to make it from that turn off of fifth Street. As I was doing that one of your employees decided to pull up behind me fast and start honking and cussing at me, and when I stopped my car and turned around and asked her if she was done cussing at me, she got out of her car and continued to yell at me are you gonna move or you gonna move. And I said no, are you gonna stop yelling at me and cussing at me and finally she asked me to please move and I did. And I understand we are all in a rush in the morning, but that was childish behavior, especially right outside of the work place. Small black car parked around the back, woman with blonde hair. Just completely unprofessional and ridiculous. Thank god I won't have to be in this parking lot anymore after today

Dr G was here within days of us contacting him. When he pulled up in his Porch we didn't think we were going to be able to afford him. (Great car btw). We just needed a updated plans for our new build. Dr G was eager to help us by offering us a price we couldn't refuse. We feel we are in great hands and can't wait to see what him and his team come up with. We know he will be there if we should need any additional help. I will have a update review.
