Empowered Ideas

Working with James and Virginia was wonderful! We worked with them to do some youth leadership building and sustainability. They know how to capture youth's attention. They went through team bonding and project management skills. They were also very informative when we did a social media presence workshop as well. Many of the tips we are still using 3 years afterwards!

We've had the privilege of working with Empowered Ideas on a variety of projects from global companies to government and nonprofits. James and Virginia are excellent at working with clients to determine their needs and then developing the best plan for them. This is vital to our role as the production company. We want to create video content that is beautiful but we also want it guided by a solid strategy to insure we are creating media that will achieve the client's goals. Behind all that knowledge and experience is two people who are just great people which makes working with them a pleasure. Work like this can be challenging but when you work with people like them they make it a much more enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them!

I Experienced a talk with James Wong: back in 2018 to my class. At first I was a bit skeptical of a group talk, but him personally was just beyond heartfelt and very genuine on what his passion was. Had me sold on the talk! He also included a PowerPoint, and explained a bunch of things he's done in the past to level up in life where he is now. I found it to be a very driven place, where you can be who you want to be. Very friendly, and very professional and the creativity in the things they do is awesome!

Empowered Ideas are all they say they are. Their mission is your success. They are committed, knowledgeable, and skilled. I have worked with Empowered Ideas in several capacities. Thier expertise in a variety of areas shines through. Whether working with youth or adults, they bring their leadership skills and knowledge to the table. I work with Sunnyside United Unidos, a Youth Substance Youth Prevention Coalition in our community. Over the last 5 years, we worked with Empowered Ideas numerous times. The most notable work we did was when Virginia and James came to Sunnyside and worked with our Youth Prevention Group. Over a two day period, they moving the youth from shy unfocused youth to a group with a voice. The group developed a Purpose and Mission Statement and a focus and plan for the year, which they carried out. It gave the group a structure that has continued forward to the new students in the group. In our years with Empowered Ideas, our youth have gone to joint workshops that James and Virginia have conducted for area youth. Each time the youth come back more knowledgeable, energized and ready to move forward. Empowered Ideas has also facilitated workshops for the adults in our local Coalitions to get training on how to effectively use social media as an avenue to educate our communities. This workshop included not only knowledge about social media use, but a deep understanding of the type of work we do within our communities. Empowered Ideas is top notch in my books. They work in partnership with you, in order to help you succeed at your goals.

Among anyone with which I've ever collaborated, Empowered Ideas is by far the most focused on carefully diagnosing and inventively solving a client's issues with web presence, messaging, etc.... Discussing projects with them is very fluid, and they always work with the client's best interest at the forefront of their thought processes. I don't recommend anyone more highly than James and Virginia at Empowered Ideas.

My business partner and I worked with the EI team for a 2 year period while we were transitioning from traditional paper/email marketing to social and SEO marketing. We had to learn about campaigns and we had to tweak our branding. EI was able to take over where we left off from another marketing "coach" without missing a beat. Being a small business, we needed a marketing team that could think like a small business and help us use our marketing dollars wisely with maximum impact. They did not discourage us from taking on tasks ourselves but coached us about when it might be best to hire outside our organization. Because of their work, I am now able to work internally with my staff and design quality marketing materials and deliver the information to our social media base. I highly recommend EI for short term goal focused project work. Be ready to dig in. The team is very helpful getting you started. If you are already well under way as a savvy business, it never hurts to meet with a team like EI to see where you could make improvements. As for long term project work, I can't attest to it beyond 2 years except that I can say that the foundation work they did with us was just what we needed to take over marketing on our own and it's still working 6 years later.

James and Virginia understand how to effectively communicate with everyone from young kids to business and political leaders. Their abilities and dedication to quality make them an excellent partner in getting your message out.

James, and Virgina are very professional and go above and beyond to help their clients. I recommend them to all of my friends.
