Watch Communications

We are at our wits end with this company. We moved to the country in 2021 on 10 acres in Auburn, Indiana / DeKalb County. Unfortunately, the only game in town is Watch Communication. We have been loyal customers through the ups and down, mostly downs! The service is unreliable! We have gone from days up to 2 months without service. They do not care! Customer service does not care! We feel trapped! We have had enough. Decided to purchase Starlink. It is more expensive, but at this point we can not bear to take anymore of the service (or lack of service). If there were other options, we would of cancelled Watch years ago! Do not recommend! Nothing but headaches. Don't say you weren't warned!

We've been with Watch for 12 years now. It has had many ups and downs, but the last 2 years have been really awful. We're paying $100/mo. This is the 2nd time in 2025 we've had an outage of over 3 days. They have never in 12yrs issued a credit. Now, normally, they at least answer the phone and blow smoke up your a$$ about when it might be on. In the last 2 days, there has been no answers on any line. The sales department line works just fine, though, oddly. They transferred me to a "working" phone line where I stayed on hold for 30mins with nothing. We've been debating on Starlink....I think we've made up our minds.

On April 2 2025 we lost internet services from Watch Communications due to storms coming through the area,which happens. I called on 4/5/25 @ 2:50 pm and was told the tower was down. I called again at 7:36 pm and was told the tower was still down. I called on 4/6/25 @ 11:18 am and was told crews would be out first thing Monday morning to fix the tower. On 4/8/2025 we still did not have service so I called at 12:08pm to cancel our service. No one answered so I left a voicemail. Also at this time I unhooked their equipment and switch to Verizon 5G home internet. On 4/14/25 I still had not heard back so I called at 2:03 pm. Again, no one answered so I left a voicemail. I did finally receive a call back on 4/22/25 @11:12 am that went to my voicemail saying I had to talk to them in person to cancel. Unfortunately I did not receive the message until the evening of 4/25/25. So I called back on 4/28/25 @11:21 am, again I had to leave a voicemail. On 4/29/25 I still had not heard back, so I called @11:10 am. I finally was able to talk to someone and they said I had to pay a past due amount of $115 and change since I did not cancel by the 5th. Even though I never received a signal from them in the month of April other than April 1st. Last year we had signal issues and it took over a week to finally get them to send someone out. I saw the complaints about their customer service before we signed up. I wish now that I would have listened. But at that time, they were our only option for high speed internet.

DO NOT waste your time or money with this company. We only had them for 6 months. In that time the system would go down 2 or 3 times a month to where I would have to call them and wait hours. 3 times it would go completely out where they would have to send a repair man and it would always be a week out. This last time they said it would take over 2 weeks for someone to get there to fix their crappy equipment. When you have someone that works from home their service is VERY unreliable!! Run as fast as you can from this service!

I had an schedule apt for today after waiting almost a month. I get a call yesterday saying someone will be there today. The on date of schedule apt they call and tell me sorry we are down a tech and we will have to reschedule for next month after waiting a month already. This isn't the 1st time they did this crap either. I wish I could give a zero star to post this. I am sorry if someone couldn't be there today why call me a day before hand. I think they need to hire more people.

If I could rate this company 0 stars, this company has been issues since the day I started with them. I called them on December 5th because for a week or two prior we would only have internet a few hours a day the rest it would be out. Over the phone they told me they would be sending out a tech and would call me when the appointment would be come to Monday I still never received my appointment call so I call them back. The customer service department informs me they won't be out until Feb 5th. Due to lack of techs. Won't be long before this place goes under. Horrible buisness and way over priced save your self the headache and avoid watch as you ISP.

Very pleased with our Watch internet service. Got it around January of 24. We previously had starlink however I found gaming online starlink has too much latency (ping). Everytime it switches satellites it would spike for 3-6seconds. I have none of that with watch. I get 300mbs for the same price and it's 3x faster so a win all together. I do have about 15ft of pole sticking off our roof with the antenna, but even with the tornados I haven't had an issue. Maybe a handful outages, but nothing too long. Pretty reliable in bad weather, although the speeds do slow down in high winds (but not terrible). 10/10 would recommend if you don't have access to a landline.

Would not recommend this company, the internet goes in and out several times a year, you will b on hold to reach customer service for hours if they even answer and if u do get a hold of someone it will b a week or so before a tech will come out to fix the issue , definitely do not recommend,
