HORRIBLE!!! Do not choose Hargray if you have the choice. I called to set up internet two weeks ago and CAN NOT get a tech to come out and set it up for me. I've called multiple times and have had appointments and the techs do not come out when they're supposed to. I had one tech tell me I need to have and pay for an electrician to come out to fix my cable cord when they, as the provider, are supposed to do it! They have bullshitted me and gave me the run around for TWO WEEKS!!! I have not heard one positive thing about this company.....

Very poor service, frequent outages. But better than Spectrum. If your used to Verizon Fios or Xfinity, you will be disappointed with the qualitybof service on the island.

Had an appointment for new service but technician never showed. I called and they said he is on his way. Waited 2 more hours for a total of 5 hours! Never showed! No call no nothing!

The Internet installer was very efficient and professional. He knew exactly what to do and finished up promptly. Excellent service!

I would give Hargray a zero if I could. The customer service is so horrible that words can't describe it. We have a home in Hilton Head and we have had multiple issues. Amazing that it does not happen with our home in Atlanta (At&T). When we do have an issue, the wait time is always over an hour. There is no outage information online and the wait time tonight has been over 5 hours and after selecting callback, they never called. I think maybe one person is manning the call center. The online portal is circa 2000 and has zero information. Although it's hard to imagine it could get worse, it actually has gotten noticeably worse since Cable One purchased them. Am looking for alternatives.

Communication - late night calls about setting appointments for early next day., technical support - incapable of switching modem after five visits !! no Internet/tv at this time. I do not recommend this company to anybody unless you have plenty of time to sit home and wait for the service man.

I can't say enough good things about the service I received from Lamar, Noah, and Gabe. First, Lamar came for my appointment on time to reconnect internet lines that got cut. He worked very efficiently and got me up and running right away. After cleaning up old cable lines, I decided it would be better to move the control box inside and Lamar made an appointment to come back in two days which again he came on time. Noah and Gabe from Palmetto Fiber had to dig a new line in my front yard. They dug the lawn in such a way that you can not tell it was done. All these men were very polite and respectful. They did a great job even on a rainy ugly day. Thank you for making this a pleasant experience with no snags.

We are staying at the Marriott Harbor Point and the cable TV has had problems receiving five of the many channels offered on one TV in our condo unit for the last four days. Cable reception was fine in the two bedrooms of the unit. When complaining about the cable to the resort management they said the problem was across the resort and had been reported to Hargray Communications. This is not a good service by the local cable provider.
