College Town on the River

An HONEST Review! Overall, the property is great. The managers are responsive, and maintenance has always addressed any issues I've had in a reasonable amount of time with a positive attitude. Security is excellent, with a gated entrance and police officers living on-site. The parking policies are strict, but as long as you read the emails and stay up-to-date, you won't have any problems. They've also been making a lot of upgrades around the property, which shows they care and are investing in improvements. I have lived here for a year and a half and plan on renewing until I finish school!

Overall Great Place to Stay! It's a reasonable bike ride, walk, or drive to campus. Plus, they have a shuttle, if that's more your speed! I decided to stay here after touring apartments for my senior year. A few notes about the place, the property managers are super responsive and caring, Sully is great! Then, the maintenance team always fixes things in a reasonable amount of time, which is rare to find! Also, the security is top tier, with a gated entrance and police officers living on-site. before leaving for spring break, i asked the property manager about an extended parking pass for my boyfriend who would be taking care of my cat for the week since they only do 3 day passes. he said that my boyfriend could just park outside of the gate. his car was towed from the front and the property manager told my boyfriend that an email was sent out saying the front lot was closed. the email says "Areas coned off in front of the clubhouse and inside of the gate will be prohibited parking zones". he parked in a spot without a cone outside of the gate and got towed and the property manager said that an email was sent and there's nothing he could do. he shouldn't have been towed and there are always issues with receiving parking passes. my roommate was told "we aren't doing passes this week" for no apparent reason and it is impossible to have visitors without so many issues. very glad i am not renewing my lease and feel that i should be reimbursed for their miscommunication

The office staff at College Town is always helpful and friendly, making living here a great experience. The newly remodeled cafe is a fantastic upgrade perfect for studying or relaxing. Plus, the new coffee machine brews amazing coffee! Love the improvements!

I recently toured College Town, and Caroline was fantastic! She was friendly, professional, and answered all my questions thoroughly during the tour. I also interacted briefly with Parker and Rae, who were both welcoming and helpful. The property looks well-maintained, and the amenities were impressive. Overall, a great experience!

Deaundra was very helpful and thorough on the tour. She took her time and was not in any rush. This property is affordable for the amenities. Definitely consider this property if you're looking for student housing around Columbia.

Stay away from this property. My daughter brought a different car back to campus for 2nd semester. Added car to her apartment profile BEFORE she returned. Management verified that was case in their system. Parked in lot on Sunday night to then get new vehicle sticker on Monday when office opens. Car was towed Sunday night - $215 to get released. On site property management won't do the right thing and hides behind College Town corporate. Corporate won't answer the phone and hides behind voice mail. They refuse to just tell the tow company to release the car. THEY contract the tow company to tow vehicles from THEIR property. And let's not forget the leaking ceiling in one of the bedrooms the entire first semester that they haven' fixed, the broken TV that took weeks to replace, the broken fridge, the list goes on and on. Management here is incompetent at best. Stay away and find another complex. UPDATE - Credit to Courtney at Corporate for doing the right thing and taking care of the towing issue. Wish it was someone onsite that could have handled it more promptly.

Beautiful apartments! Great amenities! The campus shuttle is such a great bonus! Parker is great to work with and answered all of our questions.
