Bertram Internet

Called Chris for an issue I was having logging into my account. He helped walk me through the issue and even was able to help lower my monthly bill. Customer service has been excellent since Bertram took over the company. Thanks again Chris!!

I had Bertram Wireless for years and I have no complaints, the service they provide is what I would expect to help the customer with a problem and understand how to fix it themselves. When the problem can not be resolved over the phone they will have someone out to your location to resolve the problem. I know that lots of trouble are results of cust0mers not knowing the equipment but understanding is the best solution and the explanation of the problem is better than, it's not working. All equipment take a dump and some you can call yellow or warranty time expires the day after the date. Give it a break every thing breaks or malfunctions so the personnel at Bertram wireless or Bertram internet are a good team and they will do the best to do you a good job. Talked to Chris today regarding our connectivity at our home located SW of Kewaunee. Chris was knowledgeable and helped me run a few different tests to determine why we have been experiencing slower speeds than we've contracted for. We will invest in a new router and a mesh system that Chris recommended and we will then hopefully see our speeds increase and we won't experience the buffering when watching Netflix and other slow loading issues in general. Overall, even though we've been experiencing slow service Bertram has been responsive.

I have been a Bertram customer for about 5 years. I have recently been having issues when I am on online meetings as I work from home. I made a call to Bertram and spoke with Chris. He gave me the new package options and had my issue fixed in no time. If at anytime I have any issues or questions, Bertram is always super helpful and always finds solutions. Happy customer!

I had viasat and it was horrible. I didn't know Bertram was able to get solutions now without clear los. They have 3ghz towers and that service kicks @$$ - just as good as fiber. And Bertram is better to work with than Spectrum.

As a fly on the wall, or perhaps in the ointment: The owner does not know his industry well, or how to retain capable employees. I had been offered a job there once upon a time, but turned it down due to too many red flags with how he runs his company. If you read these b-boy: You're not going to attract any serious talent with promises of "profit sharing incentives" when they see you blowing money on stupid things and trying to get them to work off the clock on free side-projects for you just because you provided a "lab". You can fool the kids with how you spin that, but anyone thinking about the long-term is going to have very different ideas about how "cool" that is when your wage doesn't even compete with food service.

Was forced into Bertram when they took over Mercury. Never had a single problem until they took over. Internet is constantly cutting in and out, we have to keep switching to our mobile hotspot. Even when it is working it's extremely slow and just kicks us out of Netflix or whatever we are watching. Sometimes our internet is just gone for a whole day for no reason. Last time we called we were on hold for 10 minutes, finally got someone on the line and all I said was "our internet isn't working" and I was told "ok thanks we will pass that message along to the technician." Technician calls a couple hours later and tells me to turn it off and back on.. when that didn't work he said "ok I have to transfer this to a tier 2 technician." What a joke. By the time the tier 2 technician called back we had internet again (which was the next day). We don't even bother calling anymore. Just wait a day or 2 and our crappy internet will be back. Reading the tons of other reviews with the same exact issue you'd think they would do something about it but with their current 2.9 stars it seems they don't really care about their costumers.

I believe they own the internet in my area so we don't have much choice, however I'm definitely looking into that soon. We have used them for years with no issues unless you need help (like your internet goes down or you move so you need your internet moved). On the phone I was told $80 something to move our internet. On my bill it's an extra $60 something. I submitted a ticket to ask. The GM called me back but I was teaching, I called him back and a secretary left him a message. Never heard back and that was 3 days ago. Now my bill is due or it'll be turned off and I have no choice but to just pay it or I will literally have to live at school all weekend doing report cards work, as opposed to working from home on the weekend. I've always thought our speeds were fine and roughly what we pay for, but the customer service has always been horrible. Even when they moved to our new house, they never came at the time they said they were, two different days, and my husband had to take what came out to two days of work off just to be home so they could do it. AND he even ran/installed all the wire for the technician. All this $$$ lost on our end and instead of a credit I end up with an extra charge on our bill. Internet shopping here we go...updated: even up to the very end when they'll charge you $50 for them to come get their dish, but then they won't ever come get it. What exactly was that charge for then? SO glad to be done with them.
