District 1 Brewing Company

Whether it's going out to try new food or listen to a local band, District 1 has it covered! They offer lots of free events and tasty brews and have an awesome array of games like assorted pinball machines, rubber ducky claw machines, pac man, pull tabs, etc and great live music! The staff are super welcoming and always quick to get you whatever you need! They have a whole area showing off the beautiful process of how they make their brews! Today my fiance tried to the wonderful waters seltzer! It comes in two flavors but she got the mixed berries 10/10 and my buddy got the blue rad 10/10 both different from the other but amazing choices and they pair really well with there new pizza! Their new pizza oven is beautiful and gives off a great aroma of freshly made pizza! The cheese pull was insane on this meat lovers pizza was one of the best I've ever had, I've never had a pizza with similar proportions hold itself up as well as this pizza did! The texture, the flavor, and the overall ingredients used to make it were fresh and intricately made to my liking! Overall a great place to hang out enjoy a few brews and play some games and enjoy food! Haven't had fun like this in a while!

So we had a work party catered there. It sounds silly and simple, but if you know you know. The beans were actually good, the pasta salad... Was actually good. The meats were good. There wasn't anything lame. You know sometimes you get the cheap skate mayonnaise, tasting salad or whatever. It was all actually quite good. And, they have a really good Maple root beer. Uncle Mike's. Also very very good.

I only tried "Penalty Bocks" bock this visit, but enjoyed it very much. The staff was pleasant and appropriately engaging. The clientele were happy but, in my opinion, fairly subdued. But then it was Saturday afternoon on a nice spring day in Wisconsin. Later Saturday night I'd bet it gets much more lively.. Edit - been back many times, fun place, great beer. The space is clean, modern, and can be well lit. The brew equipment is fairly out in the open, and apparently all staff get to try their hand at brewing. I plan to return when I have more time and sample some of their other brews.

Apple pie sour beer is 10/10! Loved the atmosphere and service was fast and friendly. Just wish the apple pie beer was sold in cans, not just crowlers.

We drove down from Michigan back to Appleton on a weekend getaway using our hops passport. We came across District 1. We Went to a few other breweries which were OK, but Nikki at district 1 not only made our experience wonderful and enjoyable. It made us want to come back on May 3 for event that she talked about. The beer was wonderful, but really what makes us come back and drive the hour is Nikki. Her customer service her personality and her genuine caring Demeanor won us over immediately.

Very enjoyable bar and fantastic beer and seltzer options. Next to Oso, the most adult fun place around with pool table, cornhole, and a dozen pinball machines (plus a few old school arcade games). Tones of fun and great staff!

Nice brewery....food selection available....pinball area. Merch area ok but apparently theft is hurting it.

Stopped by on a drive through, but seems like a great place to spend an evening. Open space with fun games and good beer. Love that you can get singles of their beer to go.
