Customer Reviews & Testimonials
What a dump! If I could give this place a -10 I would. Owner parties way into 3 in the morning yelling and swearing. All looped up. Their snarely dogs are never leashed. Showers and changing area are disgusting! There is NO WAY we would EVER stay here again. Not friendly whats so ever. We are so sorry we wasted a week there. Never again.
We are suddenly homeless due to fire so looking for RV sites for temporary living. Contacted campsite about seasonal rates and didn't hear back. My husband and I drove over today to talk to someone, and we were yelled at and told to leave at the gate because they weren't open yet. Incredibly unwarranted, unexpected, and rude. Feeling a bit stunned but probably saved us from wasting any time or energy pursuing this place.
Best campground and nicest people around that's why we've been here for 15-years.
Truly the worst booking experience ever. A friend and I tried to book and the man we spoke with was incredibly rude. We never received any kind of confirmation and our cards were never charged so we just assumed that we didn't have a spot. 3-4 weeks later we got charged but it was just hours before we were supposed to arrive and had already booked another campsite elsewhere. I called to cancel and Brent, who I spoke with while cancelling, was so rude and disrespectful. He wouldn't even give me his name without asking multiple times because he knew I wasn't happy with the customer service I was receiving. Needless to say, we will never book here again. Our business has been taken elsewhere and I know we aren't missing out by not staying here.
We come here at least once every summer. The site we like is very quiet and secluded which is why we come back every year. However the owners are very rude. Apparently they don't have to follow their own rules about their dogs. When we were walking our dog (on a leash) she freaked out and made the assumption that our dog was mean and likely not nice, compared to her two little dogs that she did not have on a leash. We had to wait till she contained them before we could continue our walk. And then as we walked back from our long walk, she actually made fun of our dog as she stood there screaming at hers in the pool area. I personally thought this was absolutely ridiculous and may I just have to rethink coming back after we've been coming here for 5 plus years. One bad experience can speak volumes.
Quite ran down. The guy in the office is not friendly or helpful at all. Huge pot holes throughout, sharp curves & a small, single lane gravel road makes it difficult for large campers. Porta potties for bathrooms unless you go to the front office. The showers are outside without a roof. Our site was a group site which had multiple places for power, however most of them were not working. The guy in the office was so unfriendly we didn't even bother to mention it to him. He makes it pretty obvious he doesn't care. Permanent sites (which are the majority) are loud and rowdy late into the night, so beware. Overall, it's a cheap campground so you get what you pay for I guess. But I've had more enjoyable experiences at state parks for the same price. Spend your money somewhere else that actually cares about their campground.
The campgrounds were nice but its mainly for RVs i felt like. The site i was on was on a hill so there was not much room to pitch my tent but we made it work. The pool is a nice way to cool off and the people were friendly but you can tell its definitely a community of people who regularly stay there. It would be nice if there was a separate area for tents with flatter surfaces.
This Campground fit our needs perfectly. We were only there for Friday and Saturday and it was their last weekend so there weren't a lot of people around. We didn't see the whole Campground but of what we did campers were nestled here and there in the woods. The leaves were beautiful! The pool was closed for the season and we didn't see what else was available. We did take a short walk around but didn't begin to see the whole place. If there were trails, we didn't see them. Would have liked a little more direction on what was available but then we also could have asked.
