Rooted In Red

My cousin had visited Rooted in Red a few years ago but had only stopped by and did not get the 'whole' immersion experience! This year she took me along with the intention of accomplishing that goal. Indeed we did! Donning waders with suspenders, we tiptoed into a bog surrounded by millions of floating berries. A pristine farm run by the grand daughter, Jamie, whose grandparents were the originators of this space. Approximately 120 acres of red... simply spectacular. A wagon takes you to the fields and on the way, Jamie gives you a rundown of the family name and farm. Now also a wedding venue, please come and enjoy this unique event space and farm. You'll learn some amazing facts about the state of Wisconsin as well!!!

Rooted in Red Cranberry Experience was AWESOME!! It was so fun and upbeat. The owners and team are amazing! The energy is contagious! We loved the wagon ride out to the bogs, putting on our waders, and getting into the Cranberries! I highly suggest everyone experience this fun fun event. Debbie P.

Rooted in Red is a beautiful venue in Central Wisconsin nestled amongst a 105 year old cranberry farm. The owners are proud of their lineage and share it with their community and beyond. They run tours of the bogs and hold community and private events. Rooted in Red is a hidden gem in the heart of Wisconsin and a MUST SEE. I absolutely loved the time I got to spend there and look forward to going back.

We just happened upon Rooted in Red while camping in Wisconsin Rapids.We met 3 generations of women passionate about farming cranberries. The grounds are beautiful, the warehouse(event venue) is historic, comfortable and just lovely. Jaimie (owner/operator ) gave us a tour explaining the process of cranberry cultivating. Call ahead for a tour, schedule an event, attend one of their special events, you will not be disappointed!

Loved this very unique venue! Wish I took pictures inside. Many people enjoying the singer. They also had a bar and a store. Nice outdoor area to sit outside. There was 2 food trucks and we tried the triple thick bacon on a stick...very tasty! They have these events over the summer. I really want to do the event in October where you can go in the flooded bogs and have a picture taken.

My wife and I were in town for an annual pastors and spouses retreat. We stopped in during some free time to check this place out. I've wanted to visit a cranberry farm ever since we moved to Wisconsin and finally had the opportunity. We stopped into the farm store and loved all of the local items on display. We asked about the immersion experience and learned they had been filled up, but just had two people cancel. They took us out into the fields on a tractor with beautiful views all around. Once to a fiend that was currently flooded and being worked we got out, put on some hip waders, and got into the water with the berries. We learned a lot about cranberry farming, and the people working there were very welcoming and happy to tell us about their passion for this little bouncing berry. We stopped back at the gift shop to make a couple of purchases, and then sat outside by one of the fire pits for a while before heading back to our hotel. Thank you for a great time! We'll be back soon with our children!

Rooted In Red is a true millennial mood! Being a transplant from larger cities we were pleasantly surprised to find such a trendy spot in Central Wisconsin. Their store front is very reminiscent to a boutique shop you would find in a major city. The wagon ride of their family run cranberry farm was informative and modern. Their attention to detail with branding is impeccable. The outside loo was even branded thanking patrons. Plus, they have events like their "Live music, cocktails, and food trucks." The event was incredibly good vibes. So thoughtful to have individual fire pits. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.
