On day 3 with no internet. Customer Service talks a good game but no one shows up. No service 4 days last week. Still waiting for a supervisor to call. Since it's day 3 I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. T-Mobile box works better than this. At least you don't have to deal with incompetence!

We were swapped over a week ago to Point Broadband from Riviera. All of these reviews concerned me, however I'm having the opposite experience as the negative reviews. The tech was here for maybe 10-15 minutes (4 days ahead of the scheduled appointment). The tech did make a small mistake with changing the new wifi name to match the old though. However the connection since switching has been great. I have included 2 screenshots of speedtests, the 354Mbps download is wifi on the other side of the house. 764Mbps download is wifi in the same room as the equipment provided. This is consistent all day, every day since switching to Point Broadband.

I can barely get this to post because the connection is so bad - I'm so disappointed to have been transferred from decent, reliable service at Riviera over to THIS. It's constantly disconnecting if you're not right next to it, now it's buffering sporadically and I was told they "see an issue" but just punted it over to a technician and said goodbye. I maybe had to call Riviera once in 5 years and this isn't even a full month into Point - it's been an absolute downgrade so far. I was really hoping for the opposite

Terrible, switched over 3 days ago and had service for a few hours then it started raining and then no internet. I have been on the phone off and on for the last 3 days with their tech people and finally today they decided that it's a problem outside. Someone scheduled for tomorrow to fix this. I hope they don't think that I am going to pay for a service call. Next day Update.... Man came out and said he fixed it plugging in a plug outside. The internet was working for 2 hours. Then it went down. I called tech again and now the soonest they can come back out is 2 days. They are not even accommodating to me. I can't even speak to a supervisor or manager because every time I ask for one I am told they are in a meeting. Probably going to end up with a MiFi from Verizon.

I had agreed to switch to Point during a promotional period, and yes it was a nightmare. I was out of internet after the "install" for three full days. After going back and forth with literally everyone, customer service, sales, IT, and numerous promises of call backs that never happened, I FINALLY got transferred to a guy named Jeff. Once I was finally able to explain my situation to him, he made sure someone came out asap and got everything installed and running correctly. He made sure to call back every time he said he would, and made sure I was taken care of. To be honest, if it wasn't for Jeff, this would have been a ZERO star review and I would have cancelled my switch. Again, many thanks to Jeff and the team Jeff put in place to get me fixed up!

Nothing but dissatisfaction and disappointment since we signed up. Have to reset every time the tv is turned on---until today. Now it won't reset at all and their only response is I'll have to wait until Monday when a tech gets there. That began Friday. They didn't have anyone available to come out and they had no one to take for weekend calls in our area thus I get to wait a minimum of 4 days without tv. I have a feeling this is going to be the new "Point Broadband" standard from now on out. And did I mention that their call back system disconnects when they call back? Not a single chance they could be recommended to anyone. I see bankruptcy and class action lawsuits in their future. Sad.

Horrible tech support. Was switched over from Riviera Utilities. Spent over an hour on hold waiting to talk to someone. Finally get someone with a thick Indian accent who made me do all the BS that I already know to do only for him to tell me everything looks normal and I'm getting the correct speed after telling him repeatedly that I'm not he goes well let me transfer you to tech support. What?!?!! I thought you were tech support. After waiting almost another hour and finally get a good ole country boy who is like are you having speed issues I'm like yep and he goes yeah your area is having trouble as well as North Georgia we are working on it no ETA on when it will be up. I'm like okay cool thanks why couldn't the other guy tell me that. I work online so this is a huge issue for me. Crazy enough speedtest.com is showing everything is normal but funny enough it took 10 minutes to load the page while Fast.com which tests speed using Netflix servers is showing me less than 1.4mb which honestly it just reinforces my belief that speedtest.com is full of crap test wise and fast.com is the honest one. I absolutely hate being jerked around when calling tech support especially when I have some understanding of what the heck is going on. I uploaded a picture via my phone because my internet is still basically down. Currently I'm thinking of switching to CSpire as I type this out.

I hate to read all of these negative reviews and then go and add another one......But I am also happy to see that I am not the only person who is struggling with this service. I had no choice in switching to point broadband. I was a riviera customer and never had an issue. Now, it has been a little over a month, and we almost never have working internet in the house. Reset the box 15 times a day and have a technician come out to the house every other day, If you can get a hold of anybody on the phone. But the bottom line is this internet just never works. I have lost so much money since my productivity is down as I work from home. But there's nothing I can do. DON'T USE POINT BROADBAND IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS.
