I rate the places I visit on attitude, experience and time. And frankly, I didn't have a problem with any of those when I visited Alatech. The owner was very nice and respectful, very knowledgeable as well. Not to mention my computer was done in a timely manner (1 day). The tech was busy that day so he took a look at my computer the next day. I had a free inspection.. I expected their to be at least a fee to look at my computer but, no their wasn't so that was a plus. Also, I know how businesses will try to upsell their merchandise to customers to earn a quick buck, which in my mind is very pushy and makes me feel like I have to shell out money for something I don't need.. Alatech didn't do that. They actually recommended one of their products, they didn't say I had to have it in order for my PC to work again which would've decreased my liking to the establishment. So, with that being said, I rate Alatech 5 stars for my experience there.

Normally I wouldn't write a positive review after not receiving the service, but I will this time. Alatech did diagnose my problem and told me what was needed to fix it. They quoted me a very reasonable rate and said they would just need the part (AC Port) to get the repair completed. They estimated they would have me ready in 3 days. Unfortunately, and I"m guessing it's because of all the supply chain issues we've had lately, they were unable to get the part in 2 weeks. Another place had the part in stock, so I had to go with them, but I would use these guys again once things got back to normal.

I would like to leave a 5 star review for Alatech Computer Solutions in Northport,AL. These people are down to earth and care about the customers they serve. Special thanks to Ryan for the expert workmanship he has done for me helping out with computer issues. Not only do they do great work in a timely matter but have the most reasonable prices that I have found anywhere. I have had work done with them for the past 2-3 years and they just can't be beat!! AAAAA***** Thanks a million.

This store is incredibly overpriced and the owner and employees are all know at alls and the worst part about it is they literally have almost no idea what they're talking about. do not waste your money here you can literally get a better value at Walmart which is absolutely sad. Literally any other computer store in the state is probably better. I would even go as far as saying that buying a computer built it a gas station would probably be better.
