Coosa Valley Technologies

Jennifer Lynn is the rudest customer service representative that I have ever dealt with. We are being charged more for our internet and she was the rudest and most unhelpful person I believe I Have ever dealt with. This has been numerous times now that I have dealt with her and don't recommend this company solely on the fact that they would hire someone so rude and ignorant.

I signed up online and it took 3 weeks and 3 separate phone calls for them to inform me they don't service my area of Lincoln anymore.

This is the second time in a few months that I have had a discussion with customer service about not receiving texts or emails about our upcoming bills every month. They said that there end is good, but if we aren't receiving any info about our bill, then it is at your end coosa valley technologies. Please fix this issue.

Update- this internet company has been amazing since they activated it. I have had zero outages/issues. I'm leaving the other part of the review so others are aware of the time it took to get the service activated. I was told 4-6 weeks and I would have internet. That to me means within that time frame not beyond. Called to get an update after the 6 week mark and they say okay we can schedule Jan 3rd. That's 3 more weeks! That's a total of 9 weeks of us without internet and a blatant lie on their end. I have children and myself in school as well as not having reliable phone service in the area we live. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will be spreading the word to not go with this company. Good luck on getting your service if you do. Yes I'm still waiting because this is the only option in my area.... This is ridiculous.

Staff was very helpful. They are working hard to get broadband service to everyone in their area that is interested. Have to say also that the broadband service itself seems to top-notch. Working well.

Julian, IT guy at Coosa, was an absolute wonder!!!!! He didn't just reboot and leave it he actually deep dove into the possible problem and stayed with us until it was resolved!

I HAD TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT! I am a heavy bandwidth user and went to Coosa Valley Technologies for internet service after talking to these folks about their fiber optics network. I was skeptical but everything they told me was true. I have the 1 gig service and run multiple 4k streaming tv's.. ip cameras... skype... a web server etc. etc. in an 8,000 square foot house on Logan Martin Lake... You can use their provided modem/router as they are... but their modems are also highly configurable if you need to setup things like dynamic dns, port forwarding, virtual servers...etc.. I have other internet, at other locations, in Alabama and Florida but this is, hands down, the best bargain I've seen. You absolutely cannot beat the price, service and upload/download speeds of what Coosa has to offer. Everyone I've talked to at Coosa has been knowledgeable and friendly and they actually answer the phone and talk to you when you call them. I would recommend them to anyone (and have) looking for reasonably priced, super high speed and reliable internet. There is, truly, nobody else in this area who has what Coosa Valley Technologies has to offer.
