Mediacom will inform their customers of maintenance issues in the AM and state they are cutting the internet off for between 1-5 hours. Having this occur during the workday is unacceptable and it happens all too often (5-10x per month). ALL maintenance should only occur during the hours of 12AM - 5AM, not during the workday. Mediacom is simply not a customer friendly service provider of internet services. I challenge Mediacom to credit each of their customers for the full month of service, each and every time the internet is down during the hours of 5AM to 11PM. This will at least put a financial penalty for poor customer service into the scenario, encouraging them to actually keep the internet running when we need it. They have a lot to improve upon, as they have no where but UP to go.

the worst. stopped by becouse the imternet bill keeps going up yet, its always lagging. (technicias has confim this) spoke to Jessica front desk and her supervisor. the wanted to give me a deal wirh less speed for more. Jessica indicated she will call maintance and get back to me wirhin 24 hours will see. Rather than take care of yoy they ask you to call the retention dept. looking for another provider.

Every single day I have to restart my wifi. Usually multiple times a day. They are super rude when you try and get compensation too. The outages are constant and the wifi goes out constantly. I'm relatively tech savvy and have done an a lot of research to mitigate the issues with trying to explain to them there's nothing on my side that's running the speeds they advertise. It's false advertisement and there is no other way to cut it. You'll pay 100 a month to get internet from a decade ago. It's insane. Like two devices watching videos and anything more you're capped out. Constant buffering with everything. At 11pm your stuff pretty much doesn't work no matter what. Doesn't matter what device you have third party or not you're have constant problems. I hate paying my bill. Feels like paying the guy who's strangling you by the neck for oxygen content.

You will restart your wifi, EVERY, SINGLE, DAY. And I mean you won't have any other option. It just STOPS if you don't. SOOOOOOOO Annoying. I can not stress enough it will be every day, for me it's at the most inconvenient times. Oh and btw their restart is a good 3-4 minutes longer than any other service. I want to say it's 10 minutes to restart your wifi. Constant outages.

This provider is theeeeee worst I have ever had the pleasure of using. WiFi just stops working. And will be down for hours. Glitches every 5 seconds. $70 is too much for what they offer. 10/10 do not recommend.

The worst experience I have had with a service provider to this day. I started experiencing issues with my internet service in Apache Junction on Dec 5th. Since then I have had 3 different technicians come to my house and all tell me that it is different issues that is causing the unreliable connectivity. My router wasn't ranging enough, the amplifier on my line was throwing a slew of data error codes per the 2nd technician, and that my line was had too much noise on it. None of which resolved any of my issues. As of today on December 28th, 23 days later I am still unable to use my internet reliably without it constantly dropping, and STILL have not gotten any info as to what the issue is other than that "Someone is working on it". If they were working on it, why hasn't anything changed for 23 days and counting? I was told last week that it would be a week and a half before anyone is able to look into this issue that was submitted on December 8th per the countless phone calls that I have made and have gotten nowhere with other than a credit. They are now saying it wont be until Monday next week that anyone will be out to try and fix what will be a month long issue. I switched from Century Link to Mediacom hoping I wouldn't have to put up with the issues that they were constantly having, just to be thrown into the same situation once I got with Mediacom. The day that a new provider makes their way out to Apache Junction you can bet that I will be switching yet again.

Our internet goes out multiple times everyday and they are no help or have any solution for the problem. This company is a joke and a waste of money. You guys really need to fix this problem not just respond with there's and outage in the area it's literally everyday multiple times a day.

After reading a bunch of your reviews I can't help but see the similarities between my issues and quite a few others who live in my area dealing with the worst customer service on the planet along with offering a terrible product they do nothing to fix it and leave you in the dark for months with no fixes. My wife works from home and was unable to perform her work with the crappy upload and download speeds we've been getting. We contacted them in December which prompted a tech to come out a week or so later. He came in and seemed nice at first but after messing with some wires outside he confirmed the issue was on their end. He then said a service ticket was made and could take up to a month to fix. He the. Continued to Mansplain to my wife that we are actually getting what we pay for regardless of how poor the internet quality is that even 1 mbs is holding up their end of the bargain. So a few weeks pass by and the Internet finally is somewhat useable but still unstable at times. One night we hear a loud crash come from my living room but thought my dogs may have knocked something off a counter or something. I find out the next day that a Mediacom tech without permission came into my yard cut my coax cable to shorten it a pulled my modem off the counter. Which is now stuck about 6 inches off the floor. I called and talked to a CSR who was actually really nice and helpful and confirmed that they were infact at my house the previous night. Very unprofessional service and still haven't seen a fix.
