Mediacom Communications Corporation

At LEAST 4 times per month there is an "outage" in my area. I dumped all services for wifi/web based entertainment and I've been nothing but disappointed with mediacom's service. Looking for another provider now. Thanks for (as my kids say) "shiternet" service guys. Way to lose a loyal customer

DO NOT EVER GET THIS COMPANY! I have had them for 5 years and since October I've been calling everyday with internet problems. They have sent 7 technicians and still nothing is done. I'm so glad I can finally cancel

There only reason I gave them 1 star cause I couldn't give them 0. Service is horrible very unreliable. I have kids that get home school and misses so much school because there system is always down. Wish there was other service.

Update#8 Now it's getting frustrating. Internet speed is more inconsistent to a point I would be getting 3 mbps then 100-250, 300 average. While the supposed contact shows 500+ since I'm paying over 100 for the internet itself. And every single time they fix or do maintenance on the internet around my area and so on. It just completely makes it worse or becomes less functional. They REALLY need to up their game, because the only thing holding them up is the lack of competition in Nogales. Literally if we had more options, I would've let go of this company but my online job needs "fast" internet speed. I kid you not it's frustrating having this problem constantly. And I also think it may be favoritism because some how my friend gets better deals, upgrades and better responses. While I genuinely try to ask around and see if I get anything. Nothing, yet one phone call from my friends and it's a different story. I've had at least 10 crashes after their maintenance to "fix" the problem

We moved to Nogales in 2021 and started using Mediacom top-tier internet service, as I work from home and need reliable, fast internet. At best the internet was sporadic, frequently cutting in and out. We had multiple service calls, and internet would work well for about a month or so, then the drops would continue. This time we lost service on 9/23/2024 and a tech was dispatched on 9/25/24. He said it was a problem on their end and would have a repair crew dispatched to fix the problem, 2-3 days tops for resolution. On Tuesday 10/1/2024 after multiple calls, we were informed that a service crew was expected to complete the work order, no service crew arrived. To this date 10/4/2024 we still do not have internet. Today we called and were directed to TotalCare@mediacomcc.comand, they had no resolutions to our issue and said a 2nd email escalating our issue would be sent. I feel that we have been more than patient with this company, with no timely resolutions, so we cancelled our services with them. We are taking our business elsewhere, and do not recommend Mediacom for anything especially Internet, find an alternative because you will not get what you pay for here.

It's such a bad internet connection there's more outages than what you actually get to use your WiFi now that everything has to be done through WiFi services only don't recommend mediacom at all plus you pay more than what you get.

Internet went out on a Wednesday, repairman came out Thursday morning. Stated he couldn't fix it would have techs check box on Street. Techs came out on a Friday, stayed about thirty minutes never came back. Called Monday stated they would have a tech come out. 3pm no tech. Called again stated they would be there before 8pm. Never showed up. Still waiting.

Terribly expensive "service" for it not to work most of the time. Internet outages are frequent, and projected times for resolution are never correct.
