Sparklight Technician Titus King was assigned to help us with the job of determining why we did not have internet for two days. He checked things out, connecting cables UNDER OUR HOME, and found out that the connection was faulty, and promptly repaired the connection with proper brand new cables, then also replaced damaged cables in our sunroom. By the time Titus was done, we got our internet service restored. Thank you very much Titus!!! Great Work!
We paid to have the technician come out to connect our internet as we weren't happy with Verizon home internet. The tech was very friendly. We had a mesh network we wanted installed with our router and try as he might, he was unable to get it going. He was at our home for nearly 2 hours. He said he could sell us one of the mesh networks Sparklight sells but I don't know why I'd want to pay for another network. Our service is mostly pretty good, especially with computer connectivitiy to the wifi. Not so much with our television setup but it is older so it could need upgraded.
When we moved into our new home we had prepaid for the internet and tv service. First Sparklight neglected to even set up our street with the necessary equipment connections, then after several calls a crew was out to correct this error. Then the internet portion was working but now after waiting over 2 weeks still no TV service. We call every day and told "we are working on it " I'm ready to have Sparklight remove my tv service, refund my money and go to a satellite supplier. Worst experience I've ever had.
As I was moving in town, I found issues with the wiring at the new home. Sparklight sent out help within 4 business hours. Nick came to my home, helped educate me on my system in a way that made me extremely satisfied. I'm very much grateful for Sparklight!
Wifi strength and bandwidth has been diminishing for months, and we're in an established, community of over 20 years. The Sparklight circular "can't find anything" on-screen nonsense has become the norm these days for streaming, and our Wifi for PC and phones regularly drops. So the obvious is that (and has been for years) Prescott / Prescott Valley continues to grow with new residential customers moving in, and Sparklight doesn't have, or doesn't care, to add the necessary increased bandwidth for the much larger customer base...but we're paying the same...for less...much, much less. I think it's appropriate for them to offer monthly credit for dropped service since it's a regular annoying occurance. This town is ripe for a reliable competitor.
Been a customer 6 years and pay online time. I canceled cable when they canceled the contract with our community owners but kept the internet. Internet was ok but very slow in the evenings. I turned in my equipment on 2/7/2025 and am told it will be another 3 weeks for my refund of over $100. If your one day late paying your bill you get charged a hefty late fee but they can hold our money for 7 or 8 weeks? Not right. They also went to paperless billing and send an email each month with how much you owe. Today there's technical issues so I can not see my account on line and the only way you see your bill is on line.
The worst possible service ever. I have needed my Internet fixed not only do they not show up they don't tell you exactly when they're coming. Their window of coming is 10 hours long. They will not service your Internet without someone being there. How are people supposed to work and have Internet? I asked for a smaller window and they would not give it to me. They also don't tell you when they're coming like they claim to they claim to give you an hour window and they don't actually do that. Wish I could give zero stars wish there was another company.
We have an old house with several generations of internet cables in various walls of the house. Hayden and Alberto from Sparklight showed up punctually and were knowledgeable and professional. It took an hour to figure out which connections were functional but they were very thorough...and now we have internet! Top notch customer service from these two guys.
