The Yuma Sun

Something threw me off at first with this local newspaper was their Yuma's Best contest. Their contest seems more like an AD REVENUE CONTEST- they are okay with spotlighting corporations over local businesses- TERRIBLE JOURNALISM I understand the readers vote, but to still have a spot for corporations in the voting survey is still giving them spotlight over local businesses. Of course everyone is familiar with big name companies Aside from that, they have now published an article talking about kids who live in Mexico but go to school here in Yuma are crossing drugs? How would kids who simply want an education cross drugs across the port of entry? This is insulting to the customs officers at the port of entry thinking it would be that easy to get drugs through like that. Sorry that not every kid is privileged enough to have family to support them in America. You single handily just announced to everyone you're a racist organization. Good job.

I really hate the new format for the comics/puzzles page. At least two columns of crossword clues don't even go clear to the bottom; they're cut off! The Jumble is enormous compared to the rest of the page. Please go back to what we had!!

The Yuma Sun has the POOREST customer service of any newspaper I have ever been associated with as a customer. I have never gone more than 30 days without missing at least one or two deliveries. Had paper on a week long vacation hold. Paper was delivered every day we were gone. Got home and paper was NOT delivered when it was supposed to begin. You can certainly tell that the Yuma Sun is the only choice for a paper in the city. No ads and news is often repeated in editions. If you cannot produce a good product close the business and allow another news paper source for the citizens of Yuma 091224. Once again no paper. Almost made it 2 whole weeks without a miss. Customer service is a ZERO with this business. 102924 paper was missed again for the 4th time in 4 weeks. Each time gets a great apology and guarantee it will get better. NOT. I have several friends that quit for this reason. Whoever is in charge of circulation has apparently no sense of customer service

Great place to deliver, come in through the rear using 20th street and SFactor. Dock is sunk in but easy to access. Plenty of room.

So disappointed in the paper not being delivered past Wellton. And not mentioning Antelope sports in the paper. Mac Friday, you might take a look at Antelope softball who is ranked #10. And you missed a really good Boys basketball player who should have been mentioned in the Yuma Rotary players

I use to subscribe to the Yuma Sun until it came to a point my paper delivery was later and later then not at all so I cancelled. I went to buy one today out of a paper machine today (Wednesday) to get the sale papers only to find one for Albertsons. None for the other stores. Guess I can't even get the complete paper out of a machine either. So DISAPPOINTED

I have called numerous times to get the paper machine at Brownie's restaurant replaced. It never works and you're lucky if you get your money back. Brownie's has also called. Everytime, assurances are given that it is going to be fixed and it NEVER happens. My most recent call the person on the phone was rude and condescending. We need a REAL newspaper in this city! At this point, I wouldn't use it to line a birdcage. If it was possible to leave negative stars, they would be a solid -10.

I have no clue how the paper is, but to the guy who blew threw a crosswalk with a kid walking his bike across the street, I saw you!! Maybe dont break the law and almost hit a kid in your work truck!! Do better!!!
